Hey all, not trying to bellyache about SL/BFA but geniune question for anyone who’s played WoW and D4 beta (and maybe Destiny).
My favorite part about Diablo has been that I can play solo or with 1 or 2 other friends and still get all the best gear / sets I want, and that it’s a challenge that can be done without 20 people. It’s sort of the last good game in the co-op adventure genre. Without getting in the weeds, something I really disliked about the last two WoW expansions was having to farm out world events and rares because I was compelled to do huge group open world content to get the things I needed. This is sort of the model I remember Destiny being.
Out of geniune curiousity, will I be able to just grab a few friends and a few beers and be able to make meaningful progress in D4? Or is it going the route of “the only serious way to play is by engaging with large group content”?
