Why should it matter if the imbalanced week is at the start or the middle?
You’re complaining about something that erases itself as time goes on, It’s a non factor when it comes to anything meaningful about the season (rating).
Any gear advantage at the start of the season isn’t going to keep you from achieving the rating you want to aim for by the end of the season.
And despite how much some people refuse to admit it, gear generally isn’t what holds people back.

Agreed that it isn’t going to ruin the whole season, but it is imbalanced for at least the first week. (Maybe longer depending on how good certain embellishments are.). And if Blizzard would just introduce a quick fix, like bumping up PvP ilvl or letting us use PvP Trophies on Weapons (with scrap mechanic for people who already spent their Shadowflame) there would be no issue at all.
The only saving grace here is most PvPers are not going to know about effectively playing with Conquest weapons on week 1.

This guy would crap himself if he figured out that trophies where boe at the start of the season and they had like a week of 20ilvls lol

People just be complaining to complain, that tiny little ilvl boost won’t matter in a few weeks. And if a few ilvls is gonna stop U from reaching ur goals well you prob weren’t gonna reach em anyway.

I think the imbalance is minimal. There will be good players who did not farm PvE in honor gear with 10iLvL difference, and they will beat other players who did farm PvE, simply because they are better players. I don’t think the min/max PvE weaponry will change your rating much.
Just take a look at Zeepeye, he’s notorious for not doing any of that nonsense and he’s consistently r1.

PvP can’t even get its own tier sets, Kennie.
PTR had virtually no effort to foster PvP testing.
The 2400 Season 1 elite mace now shares a mog with craftable gear.
I’m not happy about it, but the amount of attention given to PvP has reached afterthought levels.
Why can’t you just look at the fact that we have the easiest gearing of any game mode currently and be happy?

I can agree with this, gearing hasn’t been this easy in so long.
It’s simple, my friend - I don’t actually like gearing at all.
Gearing is literally the core of an mmorpg. You know what you got yourself into when you decided to play this game.
