On that note others feel they lose a sense of progression or awe at looking at end gear pieces from top end raiding or pvp so with that being said when you cover it up with random gear.
I would also be okay with Transmog HOWEVER make it so you can enable or disable it for everyone with this options to be apart of it or not. So if you’re in a city you can enable to see peoples mogs and have it disabled to see standard gear at a click of a button. like how the old helm and cape hide options was like.
I don’t care if they do cataclysm or not I just don’t want to be forced over to it. I want to stay in northrend. If they force all my characters over, I’m out. I quit cataclysm back in 2011 for a reason.
I don’t know but I’d really love to see the entire classic-wrath timeline done again. It’s entirely selfish reasons but I would love to experience it again, since it was a very busy time in my life from mid classic onward.
Had a baby, am in nursing school etc. would love to get a chance to do it again in a year or two when things have settled down.
Theyre not letting you stay in TBC this time around. Everyone is being forced to move to WOTLK. This is a huge problem going forward IMO because i wanted a ‘forever home’ in TBC and WOTLk. Moreso WOTLK for me.
Same. I want to retire in WOTLK and just do whatever I want - level alts, PVP, get everyone raid geared. I would consider CATA if they went in a massively different direction with it i.e. keep the class design of WOTLK, get rid of LFR, stuff like that.
Kind of hoping they put Classic into ‘maintenance mode’ and transfer most of the Classic Team to working on Player Housing in Retail*.
*Being dead serious. From an interview Ion says they’d be interested in Player Housing, but because of the amount of work to build out a ‘housing system’ it’d take multiple expansions (and probably multiple ‘cut content’).
So. If they were to pull Classic Team and have them work on that. Then they wouldn’t be incentivized to push Classic close to Modern-era. Because Activision-corporate isn’t going to keep a dev team idle; laid off or working, that’s the options.
One of the reasons I love ESO: None of the content becomes trivial. It all scales with your level, but still allows the player to ‘out power’ a bit.
…I have 8 years of content that still has the same value, now, as it did ‘back then’.
Never could understand why Blizzard decided to literally throw away old content. It just means there’s less and less content to do each expansion, as more and more content piles up in the “obsolete pile”.
Not only do they toss the old content away they usually nerf it into memories of what it once was.
Growing up playing this I always thought it would be awesome to see how a Death Knight or a Monk do Classic and TBC content while it’s “current”. Or just the new class abilities and skills the already present classes get. Having a real paladin tank for 40man Naxx or something, that would be wild.
