Title. With the legendary cape now in place, can we expect to be completely demoralized from playing this game by looting a cape from the weekly M+ chest?
Capes will not spawn in your M+ chest.
Capes will not (or at least should not) drop from M+ OR in your weekly chest. Also this applies to PvP weekly catches.
However if in the unfortunate case one does drop because of a bug write a ticket because they should not be droping from those sources.
No, they shouldn’t. A blue confirmed this.
I got a cape in this week’s box, and when I filed a ticket, they told me “It’s random, sorry.” No mention was made about the future, or whether that was expected because I’d earned the box during 8.2.5, or what. I’m certainly hoping that they pull capes from the box loot rotation for the future.
