Do they email you if you get chat suspended what the text is or no?

Are you accusing blizzard of incompetence or purposefully unbanning someone who broke the rules? do you think they really would do that. Do you ever hear yourself talk?
They don’t send the text, but you can appeal and ask for the chat log that got you suspended. Sometimes they’ll send it.

Depends… But lately no, they stopped doing it. Usually they come to CS forums for clarification and the Blue will let them know.

If saying a stategy on a BG will get you banned or saying “idiot” without targeting context or posting a picture of a mcchicken gets you banned that absolutely will
Run the scenario out in your head. Have a lil private theater imaginarium to see what sorts of things might happen when you say, “this XYZ is bad”. What do you envision happening as a result. What’s the best case scenario.
Do you think they’ll suddenly say to themselves, “Oh! I should start playing good instead! Duh!”
I can tell you exactly what the worst case is. They report you, start throwing, and try to provoke you into flying off the handle even further so that others end up reporting your wildly inappropriate mouth. Winning or losing the PVP match is no longer the game being played. You are.
Because at the end of the day, one person’s report isn’t going to do anything is it.

I got suspended once for chat, back in the first season of arena in BC because of some silliness with macroing yells to all my abilities. Absolutely deserved. 100% Lesson learned.
They sent me chat logs then, I could not say if they still do, however.

Especially when they have to say what was said without saying what it was word for word so they get creative on what they said xD
There does need to be an expanded list of banned words being said in the game though. Found out the other day the slur that uh… can also mean “bundle of sticks” was able to be typed out. Was appalled that isn’t on the ban list.

Always amazed by the mental gymnastics people will go through to justify their own toxicity within a community.
Being a jerk results in a ban; offering constructive criticism does not. We’re all adults here (presumably) and know the difference between right and wrong. If you have to make a thread like this, you’ve probably failed more than once at making that distinction.
