Na, not enuf drama. I think Anduin will get whispered by N’Zoth who died in that pathetic way deliberately so he could contact Anduin in the Shadowlands (cause yknow they can see da future) and he teached Anduin all about Void magic. Anduin does a sneak attack on Sylvanas (“My offer is, surrender or die? No, ok, die then”) and he shoves the sword into her and sucks out her soul. Tyrande isn’t happy. And Anduin is a Void Lord who takes out the Jailer and…
…my mind broke at that point because I can’t figure out what a Void Lord Anduin with Sylvanas’ soul locked up in Kingsmourn would do for an encore…
This is a chronic misconception for any development process either in IT or other industries. There’s no such thing as “taking your time”, there’s an appropriate amount of time, no more no less.
There are so many ways I could put this like statements involving perfection vs good enough. Or like in risk management where lawyers are so obsessed with zero risk that no product is ever produced. I’ve said this so many times, you can either take a month making a mistake or spend 6 months making a mistake, but you’ve still made a mistake either way but one one guy just sat in his own poo for an extra 5 months.
You can’t just give people unlimited time or you end up where we are today with nothing being accomplished. Of course you can’t rush things either that’s just as bad. However, on a fundamental project management level the problem isn’t the spit and polish at the delivery end, its bloated and misguided opening decisions at the front end (usually by senior people) that cause projects to go off the rails.
It isn’t the fault of the dev who had to change Conduit ABC 278 times during the end of beta, it’s his boss’s fault for dreaming up the mad complexity of conduits in the first place.
Honestly, if they pull a WoD and abandon this expansion it would be the best decision they could make. This expansion has been hyped up into oblivion and ended up being the worst one to date. Maw, Torghast, Covenants, Classes are all a huge fail. World content more or less non existent.
Overall theme terrible. No WoW feeling anymore, small zones nothing reminds you of WoW anymore. Feels like a f2p game.
They need to pull the plug asap and focus on 10.0. Thats how they saved WoW with Legion.
Can’t do. The thought of playing a class where my only movement ability has to be talented into makes my skin crawl.
Depends on the type of damage. Small marginal raid wide damage like Burden of Sins or Oppressive Atmosphere? Yeah. Priest is much better. Big burst damage like Wicked Blade or all of Sludgefist? Nope. Mage is king.
Right, but they’re not going to be unearnable after this expac and in addition to that, there is going to be other lulls in content that will allow players to make progress toward these collections afterwards as well. Acting like it has to be done here and now and then complaining about burnout isn’t good criticism.
“Blizz” didn’t say a bloody thing about the release date, it was some streamer claiming they talked to an “insider”. Forgive me if I don’t put any faith in that, especially since the 9.1 PTR is coming soon.
I wasn’t saying “hey, just take as long as you like” but rather "don’t force them to a deadline, let them finish the job. I can tell this is a pet peeve with you but you’re attacking something I didn’t mean.
If BC classic is really a big hit, then it isn’t hard to imagine that the beancounters eventually start to see the classic line as a major ‘patch’ in the retail cycle.
In the old days, raiders would have said sneered and said that [insert some content they didn’t like] would cost a raid tier. Maybe classic will be that thing.
SL Like WoD are fill expansions, they have been thrown together to keep people subbed while the Developers work on the Expansion they really want to put out.
That is my theory.
Yeah MIGHT be nice if you can get the GREAT VAULT to actually give you your gear. My main did an Mythic + and it goes and selects it’s reward and NOTHING happens.
It’s still sitting in my Great Vault and I can’t get it out of it. /#Stay Safe, Stay Healthy.
Difference is you can opt out except isp they legally have to collect certain info mostly location. Where as blizz app they let a 3rd party collect it you give up on any ability to opt out via use. It collects contact info numbers etc, samples of texts, chats, other app data and can turn on camera/mic. Pretty much an alexa you cant unplug.
For those paranoid about Blizzard grabbing non-WoW data from your phone through the Blizzard app, get a cheap Android burner phone that can run the app. Set up the burner phone using a different email address from the one on your real phone.
Don’t put in a SIM and only connect using wi-fi with a vpn. Cloudflare has a vpn app called Warp that cheap and easy to use for novice Android users.
So basically your SIM-less phone would have the Blizzard app and Warp. No access to your contacts on your real phone. Of course, Blizzard would still have your login times, time played, and other data that is related to your WoW access. And you can play the mission table on your phone paranoia-free. ->
Hopefully this doesn’t happen, and they pull it together in 9.1 with interesting content for everyone (not just mythic raiders).
I like 5/10 man content, and would like to see some incredible outdoor events at some point. The game could really benefit from doing something with it.
I’m hoping this is a Sonic 06 scenario, where the boss is just in a first state of a much bigger and more lethal evolution. For example what’s with the large shadowy silhouette behind Sylvanas in promos if this isn’t some enhanced version of The Jailer/an alternative villain we’ve yet to see? It’d be something if the runecarver somehow ended up being the true villain (possibly Zovaal stole his memories and powers) this would certainly explain much.
Not really as your claims would literally be pulled out your backside the talk about it dispite a ptr announcment still looks much more probable and has actual blizz employees suggesting it’ll be July-Aug
Not “my sources” they are wow content makers whom have high standing with the blizz emplyees and all of them have about the same jist.
