I wouldn’t complain if they just pulled the plug on SL.
Problem is I’m scared for what’s coming next.

There will definitely be a 9.2. The question is if there will be a 9.3.
I highly, highly, highly doubt they would do that with this expansion. Shadowlands is supposed to be the culmination of everything they did in BfA and is supposed to make sense out of the mess that was Sylvanas’ story arc.
Even then, I personally don’t. This is expansion really isn’t as bad as the mob is making it out to be. Yes, the Maw sucks. Yes, Anima farming is tedious and casual content isn’t where it needs to be. But in my opinion we are leagues ahead in terms of quality compared to 7.0 and 8.0, 8.1, and 8.1.5. The zones of the Shadowlands were vastly different to anything we’ve seen before and I would like to see what else is in store.
I think we all have to accept what is… and also accept that so many definitions of “better” from many different types of players… aren’t coming true at this point.
The studio simply can’t deliver on all fronts, or even a few. Not anymore.
I think that’s okay-ish in the grand scheme. There’s still a lot of hours of diversion in one month for fifteen bucks.
I’d like to see some changes on certain things too, but… t’ain’t happenin’ ah don’think.
WoD being short was to their statements a result of them changing the Story due to Orc Fatigue!
Jailer Fatigue if anything will get them to kill off the Jailer and replace him with another more interesting Villain even if it turns out to be Arbiter or even the Runecarver who randomly turns out to be the Real Zovaal and a Bearded Old Man with the old Jailer Artwork!
Personally I’m holding out hope that the Jailer is not only impersonating Zovaal but is infact StarCraft’s Amon(they are practically the same character and seem to have the exact same Voice) projecting himself with Amon’s latest Hybrid Host Body taking residence inside Sylvanas explaining the Back Tendrils that resemble the Zerg Protoss Hybrid!
I guess we shall see, but I would still expect there to be an 9.2 and 9.3 raid just like the last 2 expansions.
Most raid tiers are 5-6 months. EN and Uldir were 4 months, but also shorter and much easier.
I’m good with 6 months, and that may even help the final drought be shorter because it’s more spread out.
Uh, the who?
None because if they are not advertising anything than there is no false advertisement.
You Americans and your attitude towards suing everyone is ridiculous.
Most players lambasted EN because it was short and too easy. Now they complain that CN is too long and too hard…
(That’s what she said.)
No, no they won’t.
There are no indications that Blizzard is preparing to jump ship, nor are there any indications that there will not be a full patch cycle (meaning we are still fully on board for getting a 9.2 and 9.3 patch).
The 9.1 patch is either on schedule or slightly behind schedule, depending of course on how much you consider a ‘few’ to be, as Blizzard reps did say that we’d see 9.1 on the PTR a few weeks after 9.0.5 launched. They’ve announced that the patch will be on the PTR sometime within the next two weeks, which still puts it in the ‘few weeks’ time frame.
Ya I hope they do that but then again. I have zero faith in blizzard anymore. They don’t do make any good games anymore. I always thought Wod and Mop was bad but Shadowlands might be worse then both of them. At lease in Wod and Mop i raided but Shadowlands I don’t even log into the game and it just came out.
Definitely considering unsubbing til something substantial happens in this game to fix it.
They should because the maw, torghast and covenants ARE shadowlands and all of them are the worst parts of it.
There’s nothing redeeming about this expansion at all and I wouldn’t be surprised if SL is considered the worst expansion they’ve ever made down the line.
As somebody deeply interested and invested in Bastion, having Revendreth be the only zone with a proper raid/patch focus is going to be a kick in the teeth.
Especially after WoD scrapping Shattrath and shoving orcs down our throat the whole time.
That’s not correct. The spec was seriously broken in vanilla so hardly anybody played it. There was a joke going around during classic that if you wanted to play feral as dps, you’d have to play with friends. But if you wanted to play as balance, not only would you have to play with friends, but they would laugh at you when you ran out of mana and started clubbing things with your staff.
I saw a video of 40 druids killing ragnaros. There was one balance druid. All the rest of the dps were ferals. Because hardly anybody played the spec, because it was barely playable.
It was never about a particular spec. It was about the ability to cheese irrelevant raid tiers. Which has happened since vanilla…
CN is a great length. Ten bosses is good to raid a couple evenings and there’s the skip to Sludgefist. The thing I really dislike about NA is the over-reliance on complicated mechanics. The raid team really needs to learn to edit.
Maybe? I’m not really sure what’s going on with them at this point. I’ll give a little benefit of doubt because of COVID, but I do have my concerns.
This isn’t even a ship anymore, we are all collectively floating in Pixel space.
THIS, EXACTLY THIS! For such a big company they seem to have serious issues either managing their own expectations/ideas for expansions/patches or just horrible at managing workloads/resources. Idk why we are seeing such big content droughts from one of the biggest gaming companies in the world and the literal biggest MMO in the world. Come on Blizz!
