I play WoW bc I tried other MMO’s and they just suck. I’m also a sucker for history. Its neater having history vs something new - well, usually. But, I am angry at what blizz has become and what happened “behind the scenes”.

There’s a lot of N-words there (as in the profiles calling themselves that and others).
How do you know those people aren’t black? Or are you saying you have an issue with that word no matter who uses it?
I’ve always thought it was a little funny that people get so up in arms over that word, and then those same people will listen to or make rap songs that say the word 100+ times. Its almost like its only offensive when its convenient for it to be offensive.
Pretty sure describing your two foot expletive-here donkey-comparison curtain over oranges is unacceptable no matter what in a public profile.
Or looking for insert-word donkeys and so on.
I’m pretty sure in order to see those things you need an addon. The profile isn’t exactly public when you need an addon to see it.
They’re actually transferred through in-game channels to be translated to the profiles.
And you can click to report profiles on the profiles (though nothing is done). It just gives you a time and reference to put in your ticket.
imagine if the accused banned ppl are actually minorities, women or lgbtqp+ irl and the ppl who banned them are not
Yeah but how players choose to use an addon isn’t really moderated by Blizzard unless it violates the CoC or is in some way malicious. WeakAuras has existed for a long time, you can write a WA to put any word you want on your screen, or even write code in one to auto mail all of your gold to the creator. Blizzard doesn’t really do much about it, the addon itself just warns you before hand to be careful who you import the WA from.
I doubt Blizzard really cares about text inside of an addon because of language. However if your saying that it posts things in a chat channel that doesn’t require the addon then maybe Blizz will do something about that function 
Last person I know of being banned for a profile was doxxing a person for several weeks.
I know right. I was under the impression that minorities couldn’t even be racist, given their own made up definition of the term anyway lol.

Or are you saying he was doxxing someone IN his profile? In that case its a bit different, but I feel like thats a grey area on Blizzards end.
Yes. That’s exactly what some people do. Very few people in number actually do it - and usually with no consequences.
Some also have various F-slurs, N-Slurs, C-slurs, etc.
Doxxing is one thing, slurs are another. I personally don’t think Blizzard should do anything about slurs, in an addon or otherwise, because we already have a way to turn those things off. The language filter. Always makes me cringe when someone turns their filter off and then reports someone for language lol. Just turn on your filter.
And before anyone tries to say I support people using the n-word, I don’t. I wouldn’t associate with those people. I’m however saying that I don’t care if someone does, because we have a built in way to not see them in the game already. I’m a firm believer in making my own choices on what I can or cannot see, rather than someone else dictating it for me.
