Dire Maul: East has alot of the herbs that are reported to be dropping Black Lotus.
Does anyone know if the herbs in DM:E also have a chance of dropping Black Lotus?
This could potentially be the next botting hotspot if this is the case.
I agree with you, but I think instance farming by bots has a somewhat lower impact on players… to the point where I don’t even understand why they bothered with the BRD change (is that still in?).
Bots out in the world in Classic made it very difficult to actually farm anything. I know that I never once saw a black lotus node when I played. They were always picked the second they spawned, so I just gave up. Diminishing the reason for bots to camp BL spawns was a good change that will let normal players still be able to farm.
Instance farming does still have an impact on players, in the form of economic changes, but it’s a bit less. There’s no competition if you want to just go farm it yourself, and so it bothers me less. Don’t get me wrong, I want Blizzard to put an end to botting, but I also don’t want them to take away legitimate player farms. I know a lot of legitimate players use those things to support themselves. In that case, I think it might be far better for Blizzard to find alternative ways to detect, and combat, bots.
That’s just my thoughts on it anyway, I suppose we’ll see what happens. Still though, while DM:E isn’t a farm spot that I utilize, I’d hate to see it compromised for legitimate players.
Bots farm raw gold for the most part in small specific areas. Gold sellers piloting actual characters are the world resource node farmers that you are competing with.
No one realizes that bots will now just camp all herbs…this isn’t better…it’s worse.
bots cant farm DME for herbs. low lvl chars take all mobs and die for 1 sec. U need hands for this farm. mb if 60 lvl with some epicks. But u dont wanna lose that char
There was tonnes of max LVL bots in classic.
Go pvp and they will die

Did you even play classic? there were thousands of bots roaming around free reign in the open world. Boosting changes won’t stop bots reaching max level Sherlock
If you think bots can’t farm dire maul you are clueless.
