There’s a quest in Ashran to kill the boss. It’s an impossible to complete quest, as the ashran boss has never been killed. I have been playing this game since 2005. I’ve never killed the boss in ashran once. I’ve never seen it happen. How many years is it going to be before this gets fixed lol.
Also, in alterac valley, why is there an option to summon a giant boss. Just like Ashran, nobody ever does it. It’s too hard, and you have to get 10 people together to summon it.
Why are blizzard games always so overly team reliant. Can we just do something fun in this game by ourselves? Why not let one person go out of his way to do something in AV to summon the ice lord. Instead of making it impossible, or so hard/team reliant nobody will ever do it.

When ashran was current content the boss was killed all the time but I haven’t seen anyone do it in shadowlands

I’ve only done a handful of Ashrans so far this expac, but each one ended without either side being even close to killing the boss.
The last time I killed the last boss in Ashran was during WoD lol.
AV is better, I’ve seen the summonable bosses a few times this expac during turtles.

I managed to get a kill on the boss a few months ago because the Alliance inexplicably left their base. But that’s the only one i’ve seen it happen since WoD.
Wasn’t the Classic Ashran brawl last week? lol? Pretty sure you can get the kill there. Although I don’t disagree with you. They need to change the quest for the Epic BG queue.

To win Ashran, you simply kill mage and farm Alliance players for HP (same goes for the Aliance).
The end boss is not required and that quest have disappeared lately (i did two ashran last night).
How to easily kill Tremblade (if you are Horde): get a demon hunter and ask all your team to mount and ride on the right side of the map up to the Alliance base. DH will jump and use wings to get over the small cliff. He will mount on a multiple seater mount and everybody will go up the cliff by clicking/sitting on the mount and jumping. After that, group and kill boss, which will end Ashran. So you basically end that BG in less than 2 minutes.
I killed the boss a few times during Ashran Classic. Just wait for it to return.

You should have done it last week. It was easy to do during classic ashran
The main problem with this quest is that nothing is moving the defending faction to another part of the map to participate in an event or other activity. As there are no events since Ashran was brought back during BfA.
There needs to be rewards and events in other areas of the map so the defending faction leaves the base and then the opposing faction is able to easily attack the base and defeat the commander, and this doesn’t have to necessarily end the match either, the score should still have to be brought down to 0.
In the recent Ashran Brawl, it was nearly completely pointless as no conquest was rewarded for completing an event, especially for those of us who already defeated the commander in the base in the weeks prior. Conquest has always been rewarded in the past for completing events. I played for an hour or two and was done with it. Really sad.

I tried it. I was in there for like 5 hours lol.
I did an Ashran a few weeks ago, during SL, killed the boss without issue.
Ashran isn’t broken, the players just don’t have any idea what they are doing in there anymore. Kinda like AV. People don’t know how to play it right, so they claim it’s broken.

If you mean fixed as in neutered or removed , one can only hope. Get rid of it and bring back Strands of the Ancients.

I like Ashran the way it is now, closest thing we have to a deathmatch.
I did an Ashran in SL (not the brawl) where the boss was killed and thankfully I had the quest on hand. I’ve only seen it twice, but it’s doable.
I killed Tremblade twice today. All up this expc probs killed her 10-12 times.
I’ve also had our team sum rockboy in av about 2 or 3 times this expac.
When you do these epic BG quests for 1000 honor, go to a SL zone and complete it there… BOOM 1000 honor gained in zone achievement.
