Will allied races always be blocked behind a rep grind

I’ve hit a rut where I’m not having fun in wow and I feel like being able to play an allied race would keep me playing. A lot of players have the mentality of “just do it, I did it, it’s not hard”…

Well I don’t play wow to be bored, rep grinds are boring. Also as someone who is feeling burned out when I play wow. Rep grinds would make it worse.

Time for a break.

I am definitely taking a break, but I won’t grind allied races when I get back either. They need to be unlocked

I disagree. AR’s don’t need to be unlocked. If you can’t be bothered to spend a week or so unlocking them, then you don’t need them.

Well they doubled the rep gain for the legion ARs. So there’s that.

And why do they need to be locked behind a rep grind? I thought they took a few weeks atleast to unlock.

An alt isn’t going to cure burn out. Probably just make it worse. best advice…

Like I said. I’m not going to grind for them when I get back either. Rep grinds burn me out in general. Keep missing the point.

Not missing the point. I’m saying with burn out, even if you could play any allied race right now, you’d still be burned out.

Okay then what’s that have to do with my post in general

Then you dont need them then.

Again. Why do they need to be locked behind a boring rep grind? Is there a good reason.

Allied Races =/= Races

Not hard to understand…if you dont want to do the effort then you dont need them. /shrugs/

The 2 argus ones go by pretty fast since they buffed the rep gains substantially in BFA.

I would say grab those if you want to stay alliance. You can also grab NB if youve never done suramar it is an experience.

If you can stick through it though the 15% rep buff from the anniversary event makes it a good time to grind out the allied races. But who knows they may make it easier in shadowlands as well

You said you feel being able to play an allied race would keep you playing. Then went on to mention you’re feeling burned out. So no matter if allied races are rep locked or not, you would still feel burned out.

Exactly. You don’t have a good reason beyond the fact that you want them to be kind of exclusive, less people having them makes your toon more unique I guess. It’s a reason, i get it.

They aren’t like the normal races what part didn’t get in that skull with the:

Allied Races =/= Races

You have to earn their trust…otherwise you can’t play them. It’s not hard for even a child to understand.

If you can’t/don’t want to put the effort into unlocking them then you don’t need them period.

Either do the work or don’t…it’s a YOU problem you can solve yourself.

To earn there trust? That’s why we need weeks long rep grind? That could be done in a 2 hour questline. Took you awhile to come up with that nonsense reason as well lol.

Simply put, if you’re grinding rep or grinding levels, whats the difference?

Or grinding gear. It all comes from playing the game.
