Will Alliance be dead on new HC

What are the thoughts on rolling Alliance in new HC. Can’t stand the thought of constantly fighting for mobs with the streamers and their followings all going Horde. I also don’t want to roll Alliance to a dead faction.

News to you alliance is still going to be popular faction. Just relax and continue your gaming youll be fine. Plus mega server. Drink a beer you need it.

I’ve been hearing a lot of people (even people not fans of streamers) talking about going Horde this time around.

For change and hype ofc. But alliance is the og hc exp it wont change.

I think it’s mostly because hardcore is pve focused. PvE players tend twords Alliance. I think if there was a PvP hardcore server, Horde would be by far the dominant faction.

Yes I agree. I truly cant imagine hc pvp server. That would be a mess lol

Apparently there is no plan for a ‘followers’ guild this time (i.e. fangsly), so hopefully you won’t have to endure them (as much). And their rules prohibit mob tagging this time, so that also reduces the annoyance a little further.

I’m betting it falls apart quick, unless the sweats carry the weight. Most of their guild was ready to give up before they hit 60 last time, and the only got to raids by using mob tagging. HC isn’t really a casual thing, and even for a streamer to dedicate so much focus and time to one thing is difficult.

Anyway, good luck! I’m taking a hard pass and going PvP server.

It wouldn’t last… one side would conquer the other and that would be the end of PvP on a PvP server. It basically happens already on regular servers, that’s why they become 1 faction heavy. HC would just be swift and final.

Everyone likes Horde until random warrior procs wf one to many times one the Vaelastrasz so he kills entire raid in one breath.

Salvation > Windfury. Easy as

I’ve always been an Alliance player, but if I’m dpsing, I find salvation to be a better dps buff than anything else, because I can do more hits before I get threat. All the warriors have to do is hold their threat back to make up for any WF procs, so they have a lower chance of getting threat. If 1 WF proc would give 10% threat, keep threat at a steady 70-80%, then turn off auto attack till your threat is lower again. Parse kiddies don’t have a place in hardcore, and dying is there to keep them in their place.

I did once play Horde, as a tank. I found that WF would REALLY make it tough to hold threat, so I stopped grouping with shamans.

Streamers are a devouring plague. Very annoying blight on the game of WOW

I’ll be creating an Alliance character. I feel like there will be a good amount of DP server coming to the new one to create Alliance. All this talk about streamers and guild stuff is confusing to me, so I can’t comment on the more in-depth news of what people are hearing.

Depends how fast they will implement faction balance and lock one race if it skews too heavily one side right off the start.

There will always be tons of Alliance on HC because of Paladin’s Salvation in raids.

this, no streamer can take away the popularity of the alliance :expressionless: people just like the alliance races better

Good luck with that to my guy. Maybe you dont remember but their putting the faction balance equalization on server on day 1. if theres 1000 horde suddenly theyr gonna be blocked.

Are they doing it for the “normal” servers? I thought they were implementing it on the PvP server only.

If faction balance in on the HC realm, I doubt all streamers will be able to join their circle jerk guild.

This is only for PvP servers, won’t apply to HC.
