Hey, I know people having a sad over addons like lfg etc, are people raging over healbot too?
I remember it being very handy and was looking to see if it was one of the addons people losing their minds over or if anyone knows if it will work.
I loved healbot in vanilla on my holy priest, It would be anti #NoChanges if I couldnt have it.

I never used a healing addon until wrath, and I raid healed all the time, however, I donât see the harm in a basic one. Maybe one that highlights spells over the raid ui for easier access, but nothing game breaking such as a one click auto heals the lowest char or w/e.
and I fully DO NOT support that stupid healer locator addon for battlegrounds, the one that basically fires up a flare and highlights healers on the enemy faction.

Healbot and Decursive were pretty much automation, if I remember right all you had to do was click a button in the frame? Correct me if Iâm wrong.
I only raided as a Hunter so the only addons I had for raiding were threat meter, dps meter, and boss alerts for stuff like tranq shot.

It basically made it you could hover your mouse over the raid frame of the player then click to cast your spell, it meant you didnt have to physically click on the player standing there then click the healing spell.
It was the first real raid frame for healers.

Healbot continued sure. But the original healbot that automated gameplay, no.

If thatâs all it did then what others have said, you can get the same result by replacing your spells with mousover macros.

Barely anyone has raged over the default raid frames being changed, so I doubt they care about healbot

Healbot, vuhdo and others like Elvui arenât remotely related to automation. All they do is provide you with a modified healing ui that displays information.
Clique does almost the same thing by allowing you to bind spells to your mouse or key combos and use Blizzardâs ui or the others.
Most addons used during later vanilla are allowed and still available.

The original healbot automatically down ranked spells. All decursive required was clicking an icon on screen, without targeting anyone.
Both were automation.

the fact I canât grasp point of thread makes me not answer with any sense of thought process

You can use clique with any raid frames, including the blizz frames.
Healbot did not make a classic version, I donât think.
I will use ElvUI frames and clique for mouseover healing. They function much like what most healers used in Vanilla.
Nothing in this setup will choose spells for you or automate anything at all. It simply allows for mouseover healing on the raid frames. It will also let you customize how buffs and debuffs appear on the frames.
i see little reason to rage over addons, espechially since they are addons of the classic experience, and blizz already said they will change the APIâŚ

Addons are part of the gameplay.
Except Healbot. That one was broken because it automated gameplay. IIRC, the devs have specifically stated it wonât be back.
Im talking about healbot as people have mentioned as a mouse over way to target allies.
Not the automated just spam click and it does the rest.
Any fyi i used it back in vanilla so it is a part of classic?
