Wildfire Bomb not consuming Tip of the Spear buff

As title. Is this intentional or just another bug?

Could be intentional, because it did consume it on the ptr at least last week

Could be it happens because we are throwing shrapnel bombs (which should no longer exist) and not wildfire bombs

If you have the glitched Shrapnel/Pheromone/Volatile Bombs, they’re not flagged to consume Tip of the Spear because the two talents/abilities shouldn’t exist in tandem.
There’s currently not a fix for the bombs glitch either, until Blizzard gets around to fixing it themselves.

Edit: Fix found, going into the Mage Tower hard resets talent auras, fixing the bug.

I found it consooming Tips on my end. Whether it’s registering the damage, I couldn’t tell.

Can confirm i’m stuck with shrapnel bomb and not wildfire bomb. As well as many other interactions with survival not working i.e. Feign Death not removing poisons.

If you enter the mage tower your wild fire bomb will reset the infusion type and be the new expected ability. GL

… I had no idea this was a glitch. I thought we just had Shrapnel Bombs now.

Just wanna ask… why would a Survival Hunter want to do this fix anyway? Personally I like having Shrapnel Bomb haha.

My bomb has correctly reset to be Wildfire, but it still is not consistently consuming tip.

entering m+ reset my bomb to regular one and now it works

shrapnel bomb doesn’t “ignite” so if you use a bomb when the DoT is active on a target it just gets overwritten so you lose a lot of damage
