Wild Spirits is not proccing correctly

Wild Spirits is not proccing it’s damage events correctly, even when hitting 3 stationary targets that are all within it’s radius.

I initially noticed having lower than expected Wild Spirits damage (like 40% lower) and couldn’t explain it until I started testing and seeing the variance of hits.

For example, if I target the middle of 3 Training Dummy mobs that all have Wild Mark, I can attack it and sometimes I will get 4 or 5 or 6 procs per cast using the Unity legendary power, and either 2 or 3 procs without it.

I recorded and logged this behavior and have asked others that don’t seem to understand it either, as 5 procs shouldn’t be possible in this situation.

These logs are as Marksmanship comparing proccing with Arcane Shot vs Multi, but this inconsistent behavior initially was noticed as Survival when casting Serpent Sting on the center target and getting 5 or 6 Wild Spirits damage events completely at random as well (when using Unity).

I wouldn’t recommend testing stuff like that out on dummies because they are notorious for bugs with things like this. There are some dummies and specs that constantly fall in and out of combat, even while chain casting spells (makes it super annoying for testing DPS because the combat sample will show like 10 different 30 seconds samples, instead of 1 300s sample).

If it was only procs of 4 or 6, then maybe you could explain that as it not registering something in range (even though it should be), but a 5 proc means all 3 targets were initially hit by Wild Spirits procs and then Unity only doubled 2 of those 3 for some reason.

Can confirm that Wild Spirits and Unity are bugging for more than just myself. Another hunter in raid thought he was doing less than normal damage on pull and it happened to be correct. The other two hunters (me and a SV hunter) had ours working properly that pull at least =/

Look at the difference between Cinni and Gunrunner. Same WS casts, same times, almost 40% less procs for me compared to Cinni. Find any fix for this?

EDIT: I took my unity lego off and tested on a dummy, got the same amount of procs with it on. When I put it back on to test again all the sudden it was working. Got more than double the procs. Unreal.
