To this day, wild imps from hand of guldan still do not take the barbershop’s customization, rather they stay as the default model, which I think is a real shame. This oversight still hasn’t been changed and it is quite disappointing.
It probably has something to do with the Barbershop Imps being pet whereas the HoG imps are just a spell effect.
Yes I’m aware of that. I just don’t think it should be this way. When does anyone use the imp summon? Never. It would be cool to have an army of customized wild imps.
If you don’t need a spell interrupt, Imps are fine for Raids as they don’t get knocked back, though they used to be better when they gave a damage buff.
Yeah that’s true, however it still feels kinda bad. It just doesn’t make sense to me why the wild imps would be stuck to the default ones. Would make a much more pleasant experience if you could change them.
There really should be a glyph that lets your HoG choose random or selected imp appearances from the barbershop.
The doomguard from the df s3&4 demo tier set bonus already respects the color you choose in the barbershop, so they definitely have the tech for it.
Yeah if the doom guard from doom gets changed that spell effects like imps can be adjusted.
This for sure needs implemented.
They could just make a glyph for it? Like we have that for demon hunters throw glaive, and for the feral forms with feral chamelon which still works.
This should be an easy fix “Glyph of Imp-hood: Your wild imps now share the appearance of your imp pet” → bam, done.
