Best way to farm the rep ?
Level alts in that area/WQ. Its account bound rep so it wont feel like a side grind taking alts there 
To add on to what, Lohrunaron stated. Make sure that you are part of the Night Fae covenant when grinding The Wild Hunt reputation.
Reason is because you can do daily covenant quests that reward easy 1,000+ rep when turned in upon completion! Not all covenant dailies will reward Wild Hunt reputation, But the majority will as long as you are part of that covenant while questing!
