Wild Growth and Lifebloom

WG is expensive, but its also crazy powerful.

Priests feel very overtuned atm

Yes, priest is by far the best healer currently.

Last I looked 95 out of the top 100 healers on WCL were priests.

wild growth value is really good, almost 400hp on 5 targets over 7 seconds for (56% base mana, 258 on my druid) (a max rank healing touch is 187 mana for like 400 hp on a single target.) It works very well when the whole raid just got hit with a big slap which happens on a decent amount of the fights in bfd
life bloom seems really bad, really awful mana refund mechanic that basically shouldn’t exist since it does nothing but trap your mana for 7 seconds, the 3x hot is not going keep a tank alive that is taking pretty constant big hits that require more instant healing to keep up with and the bloom effect usually just gets sniped by either your other healer or yourself because you just need to healing touch the tank to prevent a wipe. Lifebloom does not really work in pve like this.
Hots in general are just going to be worse than instant healing unless they allow them to crit or make their numbers cranked into the heavens

yeah a big problem with hots is that they’re sort of meant to sustain a tank while you do other things (healing other targets or maybe spam wrath to fish for instant HTs, I dunno), but burst in raid fights is too high and unpredictable for them to do their jobs very well

I would imagine Wild Growth is a godsend for phase 2 Kelris. The chains only come out every 12 seconds, and the heal over time is perfect for offsetting the dot

Hots are never going to be better than a downranked healing touch or heal in mana efficiency and output.

This is still classic, not wotlk.

If anything it plays like cataclysm/classic

Rank 4 healing touch is all a Druid should cast really. Wild growth if people are about to all drop to 50% but even then you can go to rank 2 and cast them faster.

They doubled the cost of lifebloom but return half the mana once it “blooms” Which means after 3 stacks you’ll be throwing mana into the trash can if you refresh it.

Mana to Health is basically 1 for 1, but once it “blooms” its about 1 mana for 2 health.

Healing touch will always be 1mana for 2 health, down ranking to rank 3 is faster and probably better for managing health pools.

Wild growth is insane, but so is it’s cost. You could try meleeing raid bosses in hopes of OOC procs. You even stay outside the 5 second rule when it’s free.

Maybe in the next phase they will add nourish, but instead it refreshes lifebloom.

Wild growth is the only button you need on your bars as rdruid. Look up parses for bfd if you think they need to change wg lol

Rejuv Healing Touch and Regrowth all have purpose for emergency tank healing. Kelriss comes to mind but only if your other healers are dead or tapped and one tank is soaking mind blasts like a champ

Also you can refresh lifebloom with 1second left to keep the stacks and trigger the bloom effect. Still pretty useless though just mash wildgrowth and spam wrath inbetween

Yeah i mostly spam wrath and alternate wg on the raid if they need it. Maybe ill pop a free ht if the tank is taking extra damage.

I have never used regrowth. Spam wrath to proc ht.

The purpose for emergency tank healing is to stack your hots on them. If you have time to wrath to proc free HT’s you’re not in an emergency tank heal situation.

You never will be with wild growth. If youre in a raid its your priests job. I still wont use regrowth. I use downranked ht.
