So with the “fix” of this quest it’s not impossible to get completed in a timely manner as the spawn of the butterflies is HORRIBLE. Does Blizzard plan on increasing this or is this going to be another skip quest?
Agreed, this quest is broken. Spawn rate is very low and hence you end up competing with dozens of other player.
Waste of time to try and complete this quest. Skip it.
I have to agree, definitely not worthwhile. Why was the WQ changed?
I’m not sure why the spawn rate is low. But I agree that needs to be resolved. I was doing this World Quest last night and had issues completing it due to a large mass of players there.
In total, It took close to 15 minutes to do this quest as I noticed sometimes the item you use to catch the Wild Flutterbies would follow them around and not capture them as intended.
For now if you do this World Quest, I recommend making a group with other players there - This way you get it completed sooner and not fighting over the same spawn in the process.
i did this in a group and was not receiving credit for other peoples catches, and vice versa
Sounds like this particular World Quest is indeed bugged then. You guys may want to post this information on the Bug Report Forum. This way Quality Assurance can look into this and work on a resolution.
