Wifi dies the moment I log into WoW

Let me start by saying that my problem is not that my laptop is disconnecting from the Wifi or that the game disconnects. My problem is that whenever I log on with a character after the loading screen or a few seconds later the Wifi disappears from everywhere in the computer: Settings, Quick Settings… it’s basically as if my laptop didn’t have a wifi adapter. So, just to make this clear, this is not a modem or router problem, nor my internet provider or interference or Wow servers disconnecting me or the servers being down. The problem is that for some reason WoW (only game that makes this happen) is shooting down my wifi adapter whenever I log in with a character (not when I’m in the War Band screen, but after I log in with a character.

The weird thing is that then I connect the laptop with a cable to my modem, and then the wifi returns and I can see it on the settings or quick settings. So, I really don’t know what’s happening.

Has anybody had this problem and if so, how did you solve it?

Ok first off have you restarted your router, and has your computer been restarted after doing a network reset. That’s what’s doing it more than likely. You should be fine after doing that.

I’m having the same thing. It will disconnect my wifi while playing. Not that I can play b/c I mostly am getting 3k latency when I can actually log in. This just started this morning. It was totally fine yesterday.
