Hey Lightcraft,

These issues often point to some kind of power issue or a hardware problem. Here are a few other steps you can try:

  1. Press the Windows key and type power
  2. Select Power and Sleep settings
  3. Click Additional Power settings
  4. Set the option to High Performance (if you don’t see this option click the arrow at the bottom or choose Create a Plan on the left)
  5. Click Change advanced power settings
  6. Find the Wireless Adapter Settings
  7. Click the + sign and open Power Saving Mode
  8. Choose Maximum Performance by clicking on the Setting.
  9. Find the USB settings in the window
  10. Click the + sign and open USB selective suspend setting
  11. Set this to Disabled to prevent USB devices from being turned off and click Apply

If this persists, try configuring your wireless settings:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Type control /name Microsoft.NetworkAndSharingCenter
  3. Click ‘Change adapter Settings’ on the left
  4. Right-click on your Wireless Network and click ‘Properties’
  5. Disable IPv6 by unchecking the box for Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv6)
  6. Go to the Sharing Tab
  7. Uncheck both boxes
  8. Click ‘Configure’.
  9. When the next menu opens, click the “Advanced Tab” and make sure the 802.11 Channel for 2.4 and 5.2 are set to AUTO.
