Wife is making a Warlock. Pick my class for me. PvE

I can’t decide what to play, as usual (ADHD). Lol

We’re mostly going to be focusing on just enjoying the experience of playing this timepiece again, not trying to top meters or do speed kills. Mostly world content, dungeons, and the occasional raid.

So, pick my class for me! What do you think would pair well with a demon summoning waifu? =)

Druid or Priest – you can heal or spec Boomkin or Shadow and off-heal as needed.

I’d go priest, your wife will have little to no downtime.
Glorified gas station.

I second priest. It works great.

Plus if one of you picks up tailoring, you’ll be able to make basic gear for both toons using only one profession slot.

Downside is competing for gear in dungeons, but since she’s your wife, and I assume you’re a smart human, she will get all the drops anyway :sunglasses:

Haha, good one :+1:t4:

lol Don’t even get me started on how many mounts I have passed on for her over the years.

And to make matters worse, I have the worst luck EVER regarding drops. Meanwhile, our daughter fought the LK 1 time Ever…Invincible dropped on her first kill. /facepalm

Go warlock lol

Depends on faction. I leveled a paladin with a warlock friend during WoW Classic 2019 P2, and it seemed like a really great pairing. We could pretty much go indefinitely, as long as I had mana.

Priest or Shaman also might be good choices.

I think mage could work pretty well, too.

:woman_shrugging:

spriest will boost lock dmg , and will add some offhealing (bubble for pet) fort (locks love stamina) , dispel magic , purge , more fears …

another option is rogue or mage , dmg and tons of CC mage lock can farm aoe toguether

A lot of folks prefer shadow priest to pair with warlock. However, I disagree.

Disc/Holy is the way to go imo.

Once you get holy nova, the lock can dot a ton of mobs and you can spam holy nova to keep everyone alive and damage mobs while dots tick away. Warlock can even hellfire a bit. Disc for stronger PW: shield.

Shield everyone, lock starts dotting everything in sight. VW on passive until they’re rounded up. VW casts suffering to get as much aggro as possible. Re-shield everyone then start holy nova bombing.

Lock loots and lifetaps while you drink.

Rinse, repeat.

Just sharing opinion that comes from a little different angle. IMO the shadow debuff doesn’t do much for the lock on normal mobs.

Good luck!
