Why..why Blizz

Blizz constantly gates cool things from their players. Saw a priest wearing the “plague bringer” set. There’s hardly any plague witch doctor sets, and one of the most gorgeous sets is gated behind a weekly quest form BFA… that requires pvp in wavefronts. I qued for a warfront . Sat in it for 1.5 hours. No pop.

So if you can’t que for it. You can’t get the armor set. Has nothing to do with skill etc. it’s just bad design.

So i figured hey… the LFR castle
Nathria cloth set is still just as good looking. So I’ll start grinding LFR. Andddddd i sat in the que as healer/dps for 2 hours. Nope.

So i can’t get that set either. Fun. Sub ends at end of month. Not sure what to even do right now hence why i was pushing mogs.

yea im in similar situation in terms of sub ending but idk if i want to renew. seems like i spend more time on here then actually playing the game. problem is i don’t want to quit and then come back again.

i’d go to ff14 i mean i liked it but only thing i hated was the class options it didn’t appeal to me as much.

Blizzard is not to blame because no other players are queuing for outdated contents LFR.

I’m also pretty sure you can buy warfront sets for marks of honour at the vendors.

It’s ok if you quit because you think WoW sucks.
It’s ok if you quit because of the lawsuits etc.
It’s ok if you quit because you saw the Light of FF14 and you are transfixed.

But… quitting for a couple lousy mogs? Really?

It’s not Blizzards fault that you don’t make friends to run content with, don’t depend on randoms.

this is exactly why they should be blamed. why is your older content “outdated” why don’t you actually incorporate it so people are actively doing them like what ff14 does? instead of say relying on things like chromie time or “time walking” events or stuff like re-releasing old content such as WoW class, TBC classic, Mage Tower.

they are also to blame because imo it gives people things to do thus subbing longer. basically hamster on the damn wheel. if people want to take a break they can instead of taking breaks during content drought especially LONG AF content droughts or quitting/taking a break because they are unhappy with the games current state in their own opinion. just because say you or i may find the game fun doesn’t mean what others do in game find their options fun.

Warfronts are PvE, though.

Do you ever get tired of saying the same thing over and over again in every thread?

It’s the truth though. Why would someone be upset at and blame Blizzard when they can fix an issue on their own? The whole issue here with the OP could be fixed if he’d make some friends.

Am I wrong?

Well, it’s true. Ideally you’re trying to have a guild, friends or at least group of regulars to do stuff with. Pugging is kind of an alt or last minute pinch type thing imo. You can obviously progress solo to a reasonable degree, but it just…doesn’t really feel as fun. And you can’t ever get as far.

Plus there’s all the variables you can’t account for. If you know your group then you generally don’t run into those unfortunate issues as frequently. Lets say a guy getting mad and bricking the key. Or the lead disbanding the raid group out of nowhere, etc.

Yes. What always stuck me as odd is that the people who complain about “the community” and lack of social stuff are usually the ones that don’t even want to play together. It’s…odd.

I’d venture to say that the majority of the complaints on the forum could be fixed if players would make friends instead of stomping their feet and pouting.

I think it’s silly and odd to say your quitting over a mog, of all things lol. I just noticed your in every thread saying the exact same thing to anybody who makes a topic about anything and I thought I would ask your intention. To answer your question though, I don’t really know. Maybe they don’t want to make friends and maybe they wish they could play the game as a solo player game, in that case I would say this is the wrong game for them at the moment.

Holiday breaks make the wait worse tbh warfronts you can do with 5 people so either friends or try get a custom grp going.

Yes. On so many levels.

Alright, care to explain how? How am I wrong that friends would not fix OP’s problems.

for the love of god take this garbage elsewhere. I’m sick of hearing about FF14 and people claiming it’s so great yet its fans gotta stoop so low as to attack WoW in a WoW forum with that crud.

Friends are not required to go with you whenever you choose, in fact most of them that did play no longer do for all the reasons you always choose to argue against and ignore.

Yea except you missed part of dead servers faction imbalance and elitists chasing off anyone they view not on their lvl.
Main reason no one talks even in a normal dungeon there is going to be an elitist dink or worse a “streamer” who is going to start something.
