Why you should ban Loot Councils not GDKP's(really should allow both)

Just use SK loot system. It’s the best.

You put on a roster and then the loot goes down the roster. It’s that simple. If you don’t need the item it goes to the next person and you stay there for the next loot to drop.

loot council is nice if the leaders are experienced, good raiders and have justifications for all their decisions :expressionless: if they’re just funneling loot to their friends then bail

Im unfamilair with this explain more? jsut sounds like what i stated about joining a guild late and than being screwed cause ur just bottom of the list.

Seems like a system you might like because you are higher up on the roster?

Is the same person #1 on each item or is it split per item per class?

edit dumb questions - leads back to leadership and bias. sounds like another dictated system

do we go back old school DKP? xD

I prefer running SR>MS>OS.
Everyone has a fair chance at loot in every single run that way. nobody gets unfairly funneled loot.

The hard part about SR is that it greatly benefits under geared and underperforming players.

They can put their SR on the hard to get items and everything else goes to them by default (because geared players don’t need) and then the geared players have to roll vs the people they are carrying for the one item they are there for.

I only take rat toons into SR, I would never ever take a geared toon, it is a recipe for wasted time and carrying afk players.

Any and all loot formats can and do work depending on the people.

Only one loot format both promotes a ‘I must be rewarded at all times or else the video game isn’t fun’ approach and further motivates RMT. That’s GDKP. Loot Council does neither.

When I do SR, I put a -roll on non-reserved items if you win one. So subsequent items that aren’t’ reserved will give that person lower priority than other people rolling on non-reserved items for the remainer of the run.

That way people don’t make out like bandits by doing exactly that.

The problem isn’t that they get all the easy to get items that carries don’t want.

The problem is that most of those players are often not performing, not consuming, and biggest problem is they put their SR on the item that the carries do want.

Thus nobody that has any viable alternative will take a geared toon to a SR, so you end up with bottom tier players, and runs that take 2-5x longer than the same raid with GDKP group.

Thats literally not a problem. Nobody is stealing anybody else’s loot. You don’t get higher priority over someone else because you don’t feel like they deserve it.

And nobody can force me to carry a bunch of half afk players through a 3 hour bwl because they can’t focus or gear properly.

That’s 90% of SR runs.

It’s not but okay.

I don’t think in 5 years of vanilla wow (since 2019) a single SR has ever cleared naxx in under 3 hours (or at all).

GDKPs constantly do it under 2 hours.

You just pulled that completely out of your butt. I’m sure you’ve had some bad experiences, most people do in this game at one time or another. But your experience with SR is not the only experience that reflects a loot system lol.

You know of a SR run that clearned naxx?

I have never heard one.

Just another casual thinking he knows the game, bro i was trash back in original release youtube paradigm ragnaros. You dont know much stop acting.

Send us warcraft logs of the kills and we’ll believe you. SRs/pugs are demonic.

If you’re here to talk about viable loot systems thats one thing. But if you’re just here to whine in a GDKP echo-chamber then you’re barking at the wrong person.

I’ve done it, and so have others. Your loot system doesn’t make your players bad. Bringing bad players is the only thing that makes players bad.

No he really didn’t actually. That’s actually how it is lol

What character. I pay for warcraft logs and can look up any log. let me confirm it and ill agree with you. type out exact spelling thx

Yeah I’m not giving you my logs. nice try though

(btw logs doesn’t show what loot system you use)

I’m very curious to know as well.
