Why you should all be more sympathetic to Sylvanas

I’m not really expecting a way for this to happen, but I want to see it.

Can you describe how I’m committing genocide by playing Ride to Hell: Retribution? No rules to the story, just come up with something!

What, I wonder, will these few who persist in worshiping at the feet of a genocidal cult leader do when said leader becomes a raid wing boss who gets constantly melted and ultimately becomes nothing more than another boss on farm status? And then, ultimately, solo’d by people just looking for the next piece of their transmog?

Yup, comparing stealing a candy bar with genocide is still ridiculous.

I will talk about Sylvanas another day

Emphasis mine, my dear deader.

Last time I checked, people that commit genocide don’t get sympathy.

As much as I disagree with your stances I still somehow like you guys for what you do. Nice to see people with such wonderful IC and OOC personalities about a character the passion is great.

Can you imagine the scale required to steal food from an entire population to the point it would be considered genocide? That’s pretty nuts. Probably way easier to just dump a bomb on them.

im kinda curious why people still love and respect sylvanas to be honest…

i disliked her before wotlk tbh.

I was fine with her, then the Wrathgate happened. That whole thing smelled fishy to me, and well… it has been downhill ever since.

i just didn’t like how she run things honestly.

The funny thing is I am ok with evil characters, and even rping as them. I have a megalomaniac gnome warlock that was all gung ho for the burning legion. Havent played her for a while though. The legion expansion sort of made her unemployed.

She has a lot of flaws obviously, like how Sylvanas was defo behind the wrath gate if you take one look at the quest text in the starting zone and how she was experimenting. Then you have her thirst for vengeance being quenched but she honestly became more evil if anything. Then you also have her trusting a Dreadlord. Blizzard seems to like her to be the one to play 3D chess yet she has a dreadlord by her side up until he finally betrays her…

same.
i rp a evil character whose tired of how mortal living races are running azeroth, and wants to tear down alliance and horde, considering them the great threat to our world since they keep fighting each other…
and as well as banish all worship of deity’s and light/void in the process.

other than that, got a twilight hammer cultist who is a mercenary just to spill blood, and a warlock who is so interested in fel magic and demons, that he cuts parts off of them and adds them to himself.

he even replaced his own eye with a demons.

You mean leaders like that one from Germany back in the 1930’s?

At this point, I think we both have really said our piece. We both get each others viewpoint as well, even if we super disagree with each other. You don’t consider her evil. I consider her straight up evil. At this point, I think we both would be best served if we shook on it and agreed to disagree. Shadowlands will be the real test of all this anyway.

So truce?

Edit: This post marks my 6666 post. That’s kinda hilarious.

I don’t quite understand what you mean by this.

Basically, he wants a truce, so long as it proves he is right

Evil and doing bad things are not equal my dude. Keying someone’s car - bad. Mass genocide - evil. Not every bad thing is inherently evil. Some times people are just d - bags bub

Oh… I see. That would then mean I wouldn’t be on friendly soil.

Level 60 Warlock… nods her head to herself, then finger flicks his head

Weird fella, he totally should have accepted the truce without conditions.
