Except the writers have explicitly stated that it doesn’t.
What actual examples of foreshadowing has she done?

That’s not what I’m asking. Has she ever used foreshadowing as a device before?
Who said anything about growing as a writer? Using foreshadowing isn’t growth. It’s just a tool. And if it’s a tool she’s never used before, then there’s no reason to expect that she’s suddenly using it. Especially if there’s nothing whatsoever anywhere to implicate that any foreshadowing is taking place.
But it’s not paralleled. There’s a very few points that match and many more that don’t. Foreshadowing shouldn’t rely so heavily on cherry picking.
Yeah, no. That’s what makes it bad foreshadowing. It’s like the people who go over Nostradamus’s quatrains and saying he predicted future events even if the quatrains are nonsense.
You’re so desperate for there to be something that vindicates Sylvanas, and you’re going to be massively disappointed with Shadowlands.
Except I’m not the one seeing things that aren’t there.
Just because you can make the argument doesn’t meant it actually exists.
And there’s nothing reflecting it in-game at all. For all we know the “foreshadowing” in BTS could have meant the return of Thrall.
Sylvanas wasn’t forced out of the Undercity. She didn’t scream anything about the Undercity being nothing. She didn’t kill any Orcs on the way out of the Undercity. There was no Mok’gara. There was no Alliance presence.
And then she started screaming that the Horde was nothing and blasted off.
Nope. She didn’t say “your Horde is nothing”. She said “the Horde is nothing”. That’s you, once again, making things up out of thin air.
That would mean that should have to make such a distinction. But she didn’t. She made no attempt to imply that she was talking about Saurfang’s concept of the Horde.
The context is key, and you seem to want to throw it as far away as possible so you can keep your precious loyalist story line going.
She absolutely does need to explain herself. You can’t just keep saying “she’s the Dark Lady” as if that means anything.
She’s never coming back to the Horde. Except maybe her head on a spike.
And there is no foreshadowing. Period.
All you’ve done is push your narrative.
What title? You mean the one she threw away with the rest of the Horde? When you see Sylvanas a final time in the Ghostlands, what title is she using? Oh, wait, not Warchief? Oh, that must mean that she doesn’t have that title anymore.
Golden isn’t the only one writing for Shadowlands. You’ve tried making that snarky remark before. And a couple other writers have said the whole loyalist thing is done with. Which means she’s not coming back.
And? What’s your point. That we should ignore everything they’ve said? Which would include your precious “foreshadowing”.
I forgot about that sorry.
Woah this thread had 30?40? posts in the morning and now have over 300 posts
Geez I just can’t understand how some people can still be loyal
If my king had said “The Alliance is n…” oh no I just can’t even imagine that
What are you talking about? It was one night elf city. Just one city. Night elf settlements are everywhere throughout Azeroth. They were hardly almost extinct as a result of Teldrassil.
Also why do people keep forgetting that the tree never should have been planted in the first place? It was a very selfish act by the night elves to plant that thing.
Says we should all be more sympathetic to Sylvanas, then says some rando is committing attempted genocide by shoplifting a candy bar and a soda.
Ok.

But they did Lann, in clear and unambiguous language. Saying that means nothing is one thing, saying they didn’t say it is another thing altogether.
Okay let me explain the context.
When you steal from someone’s business, you are stealing something they could have sold to someone else, therefore denying them money/gold, which in most realities to my understanding, living people need money to survive, as you need to buy food. Therefore, when you steal from someone, you are contributing to something that takes away from their right to life, which is why there are laws against stealing in every single country on the planet. Because if everyone stole from the same person, shoplifting and whatnot, then that person would have no business and unless they live somewhere with a strong welfare state then they would die, oh and by the way, even if said nation had a welfare state, you are taking away from someone’s ability to pay tax that contributes to a welfare state…therefore, it is pure evil, but it’s just incredibly subtle that a lot of people don’t notice it.
Think about it.
But to me, genocide by definition is planning to wipe out an entire race or species and Sylvanas wasn’t doing that. She just wanted to kill as many as she could for her agenda, I don’t think she particularly cared who, but Sylvanas isn’t the only entity that’s all for war and death, so is Bwonsamdi, let me ask you this Horde adventurers…when he asked you to kill a million things for him, did you even flinch? A million.
Whaaa? No, the store hypothetical store owner(who likely owns multiple franchise locations) isn’t going to die over a fractional loss of inventory since that is known as a business loss on a tax return. I have no idea what you’re on about aside from trying to defend the silliest analogy I’ve ever seen. Thank goodness it’s over a fictional character though, because I’d hate to see what you’d be willing to rationalize in terms of a national leader.
