I quit for 22 months over what they did to Marks Hunter in WoD. Still seething when I see people talk about WoD being a good expansion.
Ofc it’s never gonna happen people take the path of least resistance. Would be a more fun game though if you didn’t fight the same comps over and over!
I think that it had potential, and certain good aspects, but a lot of people must have forgotten just how bleak that period of time was, especially after mop. Or just didn’t actually play it.
Funny to me how it took half a decade for Wod PVP gearing to become popular again, though.
Agreed, it just won’t happen. I wish they had a way to reward people for playing a spec through thick and thin that would be more substantial than any FotM spec but I can’t think of a way to do it.
I kinda wished they made it so you couldn’t do arena on a character until you had 50,000 HKs on it, but that will punish people that just arena. Like I said, hard to find a way around it.

I logged onto my Hunter in prepatch and felt sick about the 5 abilities I still had…
I hate WoD and the people that loved it were like 10 years old when it came out.
Yeah, it was rather jarring on some classes/specs.

There’s no downside to being like ehhhh warlock kinda hard rn I’m gonna play fire mage instead cuz ur warlock gets all the rewards lol

Yeah, I’m not comfortable making declarations about a level of play I have never seen. I won’t weigh in on glad mounts and how they should be handled for now haha.
I mean anything right elite sets the enchant the achievements it’s all account bound so ur right you’re not rewarded for playing a main. That’s why so many people played BM hunter in 2s for their rewards this season and skill capped can whiny voice me but those people suck
Or staceysmom who rolled BM and played at sub 2k MMR for glad wins for the account bound mount

Account-wide elite sets that you earned on that class are fine, imo. It’s when the set is shared (armor type, bfa-sl) that’s unfortunate, especially when they knocked it down to 1800 (from 2000, from 2200).
I hope that they make an elite elite set with extra spikes or something.
At least class sets are back soon.
Yes, it used to be cool to see somebody with bloody dancing steel because you knew that they were active on that character at the time, or had earned a gladiator mount on that class.

Yeah, glad is probably too far gone to undo but the combination of class sets and a unique enchant that isn’t accountwide would probably add a significant amount of alt participation
