No, it’s most definitely WoW that failed.
Yes. And we’ve been making many points about why it’s their fault that we are unhappy.
Systems over systems over systems, throw-away content every patch so that every patch is its own small expansion, a new incompetent Lead Narrative Designer, the refusal to listen to the playerbase and showing arrogance to us and mocking us openly in Q&As… yeah, I’m pretty sure all those things are not our fault.
Those who are only interested in making money call the shots at Blizzard.
Anyone still passionate about the game or franchise has been flushed out some time ago.
Yet people are still subbed and paying them money, the fault ultimately lays on both sides.
So long as Blizzard keeps getting money very little will change.
Because the game’s direction has gone completely different, and now for me it feels like its only catered to the mythic racing community.
There should be more love put towards bettering PvP and WPvP, it was actually fun having tons of people come together to fight each other.
And the Roleplaying community should be more looked into as well, having more customizable options, that are on par with modern games, and maybe actually putting in an in-game roleplaying profile for everyone to see.
For me personally, I’ve been playing this game off and on for more then 10-15 years at this point, and I love my character, I love the people I’ve met on here, and its the only thing keeping me playing, the gameplay has turned me off completly.
They need to listen to more then just the popular voices in WoWs community, and especially the high end players. The game shouldn’t have such a main focus on end content, and raids.
Casuals/PVPers/RPers should have a bigger voice, and not just the 0.1% of players and the mythic racers. We got an entire big world in Azeroth, and it should be used, there are still stories left to tell, and a ton of dungeons to play with. I’d have a lot of fun experiencing updated vanilla/cataclysm dungeons.
And get rid of systems all together, I just want to gear up in a dungeon and be ready to raid.
Exactly this. They got addicted to the NASCAR world first racing, with all the sponsorships plastered everywhere, the espn like commentaries, the eSports PVE.
Little of column A, little of column B.
