Eh, kind of, but there’s no denying our pressure is just… wrong. The bleed/bladestorm emphasis, the lack of kill power, the fried change to 4 second sharpen, and the overall lack of durability compared to other classes combined with our lack of burst and need to constantly be in melee to have any impact is really bad.
I’ll also edit to add, while the damage profiles are wildly different in PVE too, it isn’t like we’re gods there either justifying our lack of tuning. We’re highly undesirable for keys and raids with our lack of utility and mediocre damage. it’s pretty weird
Its super interesting to me to see the NA and EU metas.
I watched cdew Q the other day and of the 10 team permutations he fought, there was 1 mage/lock, 1 splay, and 8 rogue+X teams (most caster and one rogue+ww).
I watched an EU Rdruid play dh/ele and they Qd into 3 dh+destro, 1 boomy+dh, 2 dh+ele, 1 dh+dragon, and 1 splay.
Feels like NA plays rogue and EU plays dh and when you dont have those classes it’s just shove in a warlock and the comp is good XD

i think 4s sharpen is fine, yeah a damage redistribution would be cool but arms isnt some dogwater spec tbf, arms burst isnt rlly like BAD either, like it isnt top tier or anything but there are moments where it feels rlly effective
Someone mentioned this already but would buffing ms effect on warrior be enough to compensate? At least during sharpen goes.
Feels like whenever I fight a team that isnt dh x or rogue x or caster demo I just auto win.
Comps outside of these 3 archetypes aren’t really competitive.
sharpen used to be 75% and that was cracked 
Maybe they just delete sharpen altogether. Buff arms MS and double down on the consistent bruiser. Frees up an honor talent and let’s face it arms has a plethora of insane pvp talents that shamefully go unused.
Some will say things like ele war is a more defensive than dh ele but the game is so momentum based right now it seems just blasting out the gate is more effective than the push peel of war ele

Ya there was a fistweaver in this thread or another one who said war+ret was better despite DH+Ret being higher rated and higher rep.
I think he’s totally right that ret/war has more saves and may be better at not losing, but dh/ret is WAY better at winning games.
Feels like offensive matters a lot more than defensive in this meta.
People are forgetting that good dhs are unkillable vs non rogue teams.

I played both recently and dh > war w the ret
Judge and immolate self dispel on CD vs sp and ele is amazing. You have sanct and reverse for your healer. Ret is 80% magic dmg now and dh gives him 5% more. Dark is such a great button to press w dh cleaves that just keep both gas peddling.
Oh and 2 immunities on both melee
Imagine trying to kill one using non-physical dam
give warrior magic damage but buff dam by 20% to kill dh
Omnidirectional 80% dodge btw.

Just level dh and replace essence break with csmash icon, replace chaos strike with mortal strike icon, replace blade dance with overpower
