I’m just, curious. About the only interaction to my knowledge was Thrall going with that one girl to get more Stormrooks. About it. They seem to have much more in common with the Alliance not to mention having cousins in the Bronzebeard and Dark Iron Dwarves.
Because the horde is there helping them as well? Remember, the horde and alliance are working together now, so the Earthen have no reason not to help both. They no longer need to pick one or the other.
I guess one day, it’ll finally sink in that the war storyline is over.
lol. You underestimate how… simple a lot of the people are.
Us. The player characters. Horde toons are there representing the horde. Earthen don’t really know us by our factions or have any preconceptions. They’re just hanging with their new friends.
Oh I know the War is over. It’s just… well I guess after the storyline both Horde and Alliance armies came. Just they seem to owe more to the Alliance or specifically Magni then a bunch of savages.
I guess there is that. I always tend to ignore the player’s intervention in a lot of things.
Because ignorance can often land you in ill company.
You mean like the highmountain, nightborne, and mechagnomes?
Yeah, it’s still a little vague although the Earthen here are an independent government. For now.
At least the Earthen forces might become more noticeable on the horde side since the alliance have too many heroes.
What would happen if an Earthen ate Kaja’mite, I wonder?
The Earthen are throwing off shackles put on them by others, what is more Thrall’s Horde than that?
Well first they’d have to get it from the Goblins who’d charge them more then they can spend. Second, probably nothing good.
Eh, Thrall’s Horde hasn’t been a thing for a long time now. And no one likes Thrall’s Horde (I mean I do but I have nothing but bad opinions)
Seems most if not everyone want’s Garrosh or Blackhand Horde.
Perhaps the Earthen have no sense of smell.
They are rock people.
because blizzard wants to do away with factions. which will kill the game “War” is literately in the name of the game.
My honest thinking is because of the Unbound Earthen- they’re the most likely to join the Horde.
As a whole, Earthen are kind of a “blank slate” race.
Same with Dracthyr, and Pandaren when they first arrived on the scene.
I assume, they don’t share animosity towards Orcs and the Horde since the Horde didn’t attack their homes way back, like in the Warcraft 1-2 days of Khaz’modan being attacked by blood-crazed Orcs.
They don’t have the same history as the other dwarves do, they aren’t historically linked to the Alliance.
And due to infighting amongst their own, a lot likely have different mindsets on how to proceed with things, hence joining both factions.
Honestly, lore-wise, several races should be neutral by now, like Goblins. But the ones we play as are a specific group allied with Horde.
As an Earthen, it’s more broad, you don’t belong to a specific group or clan.
irrepressible curiosity seems to be part of how the earthen are characterized for the expansion, down to being a racial xp* bonus for discovering things. considering the horde is one of the two dominant mortal powers on azeroth, it’d probably be weirder if they didn’t have questions about it.
You are right that the story is mostly Alliance centered. Its been that way for a while.
Now the Horde is just supposed to be seen as part of the Alliance story.
because both sides are helping them and they havent had a bad interaction with either of us. (mostly cause uber racist tyrande isnt there to drive them away like she did the nightborne)
orgrimm horde best horde zug zug
we need to go to an alternate timeline with orgrimm, zuluhed, zuljin and killrog and make the horde great again
we should have gotten red draenei.
we were robbed.
