Don’t get me wrong, any expansion has managed to piss me off, one way or the other. Especially if you’re a PVPer like me. Wrath and Cata were my favourite past expansions. But doesn’t matter how many flaws a current expansion has, I would ALWAYS rather play it than a previous one. Why? Because it has more if not way more features and content. I mean to re live an old expansion for fun, sure I would do it. But to have it as my main game? Nah fam.
Years ago I thought Burning Crusade xmog was REALLY COOL until I saw wrath, cata, LEGION (my favourite xmog expansion) ones. Bfa was slacking but so far the sinful elite sets look pretty good.
I would never play an arms warrior without having overpower as a main ability. Like come on yall think pre-wrath warrior was fun?
Paladins without word of glory? Lul
Enhance shaman being unviable in PVP?
Dungeons only good for freshly capped characters? Get ditched after a while?
No LFR or normal for casuals?
Leveling and gearing alts took forever??
NO TRANSMOG??? Some of these appearances are fugly
NO MYTHIC PLUS??? Im a person who has no time to wait for a raid group to form or re-form if people bail, nor do I have the dedication for scheduled raids.
I really have no idea why people want to move backwards, not forwards. I understand with remasters/remakes because the games are being modernized, but Classic is just redoing Vanilla/TBC.
Some people liked the game before convenience started in Wrath. The attunements were pretty fun, and reputations weren’t replaced by hideous Renown and anima grinding.
Personally I will never play it, but ehh, clearly it’s something people want and I commend Blizzard on not only deciding “Hey, we’re going to give folks these things.” but also deciding that the original release was not that great, so there will be some changes, rather than no changes.
It be something wow related to do after getting their vault setup and callings cleared to be done SL in one night. Anything past that is a mild form of gambling addiction really. Replace this time its going to be blackjack this time with yeah its going to be a weapon lol.
As an elf liker I’d like to see that really good older blood elf racial. The one now…yeah it works. Woohoo I pulled off 1 buff. 1 of the 300 loaded up in the 2 minute wait for a BG to start up. 1 down…299 to go.
And some of us…missed this first time. We hit it now OP as hell and want to see it. Since Blizzard canc’d TBC TW, never put in back on the schedule and teases with putting every other tw in…some still do not know how black temple runs not being max level and uber geared. You won’t see this in current level. level 50, out of chromie you just go SL.
I played Classic for the community and really enjoyed it, cleared all of Naxx with a group of people I met since low level deadmine runs, raided all the content and did everything I didn’t achieve as a young high school kid back in the day. I enjoy Retail a lot now a days, and I don’t think I’m going to play BC. BC is when they introduced dalies and stuff, and tbh one game of chores is enough for me. Been there done that feeling towards BC, it was fun but I got my taste of nostalgia with Classic WoW
