Why would 30% increase in War Mode Bonus Help?

20% more from the current bonus seems like a good idea but how would it not just surge war mode with leveling characters trying to capitalize on the XP boots only to be smashed into the ground by the numerically superior horde?

Then were right back to where we started with even more disillusionment after they get swarmed.

Secondly is the 30% Alliance only? Also, the problem is numeric that a shard can’t fill players to contest when they dont even exist in the first place…heck battle grounds can’t even fill the roster after a person has left. Why would 30% bonus change anything past a short term surge?

30% will not fix anything, Still better off questing and leveling with out it to get it done quicker.

Warmode needs rep buffs to make it worth it for most people. Because without one, you can turn it off for efficiency. With one, you still get the same number of WQ per day, but would yield more rep overall, which many would likely eat up to knock a couple days off of unlocking allied.

I agree with Greyhide, all WM does at max is just slow down your daily chores, the rep bonus at max would definitely get me to turn it back on, great idea!

I doubt we will ever see a rep bonus for having warmode because they would have to pull people from mobile development and put them back on wow

Having an increase of reward in a quest you can’t complete seems counterintuitive.

it wont help more horde would go warmode.

warmode was a bad idea.

come on, thing about it. if you could play wow on your phone, you would have the ability to do world quest anywhere, thats kind of like a rep bonus. blizzard is thinking of you as they port wow to mobile.

I’ve never had a problem NOT completing a quest in WM. Occasionally, they take longer but the big problem are the FP campers. Get past those and you’re set for the most part.

Definitely, imagine earning an extra 100 AP per quest. 100 quests a week and that’s an extra 10,000 AP. Nothing to sneeze at.

i cant even bring myself to do 4 WQ a day much less 100 in a week. and with me having 4 toons at max it will just be to much of a time sink to even care about AP at this point

even if they doubled the xp gains its not worth it. the reason isnt the rewards.

A lot of solutions to issues are to provide an incentive. Heck, in most of the “How do we get more tank” forum threads, a ton of people say “Provide a good reward for doing it”.

In my opinion, that’s essentially what they’re doing here. To give people an incentive to turn WM on. It fluctuates depending on which faction has more population on WM at that time (to my understanding). It’s also an effort to help you “catch up” the time you lost to PvP instead of focusing on questing/leveling. If more Horde are WM on, you’ll probably run into more horde and die more. So, here’s extra XP to help make up for that.

The idea is, for people who want to world pvp, to be able to, and those that don’t want to, don’t need to. Trying to force everyone into it with a buff large enough to feel mandatory, feels like it would defeat the purpose.

Instead, players should encourage their guilds to work together or get a community up and running that wants to world pvp together.

World pvp in wow was always more about griefing and causing trouble with pve players than anything else anyhow lol que for a bg! :stuck_out_tongue:

The bonus that is there now shouldn’t even be there, either you wanna kill the opposing faction or you don’t, exp or rep shouldn’t really be a factor.

Your post argues and admits that you “lose” when world pvp in ways that need to be compensated for it to even be viable. Isn’t that and admission of failure that it dosen’t really work?

Are the bags for queuing up still a thing? I know they were before I quit playing FFXIV. You get a bonus for being a certain roll.

There’s already an incentive to go WPVP. A lot of the honour talents out in the world are really good for PvE.
