How can I lead a 40 man group to victory when 15 of them are afk?

I’ve noticed that botting tends to affect alliance moreso than it affects horde, but it cripples both factions. My theory as to why more alliance players bot is because it seems that more alliance players seem to care about themselves than their community as a whole. Its the main reason that my main is on horde. In general there are a lot more team players on horde side. I doubt they gonna punish botters harshly though, even botters pay a sub fee.

Yeah it’s just sad.
It honestly wasn’t like this in Vanilla.
I feel like no matter what I do or what my team-mates do, we CAN’T win because blizz is not blizz anymore.
I think I might go back to PSes.
At least they punish this sort of thing.

Because they fired all of the GM’s and have like 2 people to answer tickets and unless its about terrorists or harassment they don’t care or lack the resources to do anything.
Bots and AFKer’s still pay their 15$ a month so this dying lit garbage bag of a company will let them keep playing.
No offense to the actual people who work on this game and simply don’t have the resources available to them though.

I just wish that wasn’t true.
They do stuff about the bots. Report them.
They just did a ban wave a few weeks ago. Do not forget they need to do investigations on the people being reported to make sure it is accurate. Not every person being reported as a bot is actually botting.
They also do not ban botters 1 at a time. Instead usually banning a few hundred at a time.

“Ban-waves” that only happen 3-4x a year don’t do anything.
There are just as many AFKers in all my AVs as before the most recent “ban-wave”

They don’t do anything about bots we have a known bot doing 70k+ a day honor on our server and he finished standing 3, now we have to play 24/7 , get you facts straight or your head outa your a$$
I mean they just did a ban wave for bots like 2 weeks ago. So they are doing them. People need to actuallt report instead of come here and whine. Blizzard doesnt actively watch every player.

It doesn’t work, as a strategy.
Even if Blizzard were perfectly ethical and honest, which they are not, that kind of methodology doesn’t fix anything.

Being afk and botting are 2 seperate things. One is using a 3rd party system to break the tos. The other is bad pvpers trying to game the system. Afking does not break the tos and is not a bannible offense.

You clearly have no clue what you are talking about. Yes afking is annoying and also a scumbag thing to do. I do not deny that. However it is not against the tos and thus blizzard will not touch it.
