Why Wintergrasp 90% of the Time?

When I queue for epic BG’s I get Wintergrasp 90% of the time. I get Ashran the other 10%. About 1 out of 30 BG’s I get AV. I’ve only gotten IOC twice in the last month playing daily. What’s up with that Blizz? Why WG? It’s pretty much everyone’s least favorite BG from what I hear.

Roll of the dice. Some days I’ll get Ashran like 7 times and that’s great because it’s bis ebg. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Yeah, but do you ever get AV 7 times?

Only on Horde where I’ll lose every single one in five minutes.

Same thing happens in WG on my ally toons. We lose 9 out of 10 times. It’s not even interesting, let alone fun.

Because Blizzard is trolling us. They know we hate it, they know if they brought blacklisting back it would be BL’d by 99% of players.

It certainly feels that way, but why? I don’t understand. It seems to me that Blizzard would want people to enjoy it. I recently decided to quit playing DF because I’m just so bored there. I went back to WOTLK because it’s still fun and there’s still World PVP. And the funny thing is, DF is a huge improvement over SL, but it’s not enough. Once I leveled to 70 it just became sitting in queue’s all day. Boring. PVP is an escape, but I really can’t stand BG’s anymore. But I especially hate dropping into 3 WG in a row just to lose. It’s awful.

Anecdotal.

DF is a huge improvement, but PvP is the exact same. Same BGs, same imbalances, same ridiculous amounts of CC. Nothing has improved, literally nothing except World PvP is dead.

And yet here you are.

I just assume I’m going to get rolled when I’m pulled into certain BGs. I get a WSG I ask if there’s a team on my side now assuming there’s probably one on their side there to farm HKs. I queue epics and regs at the same time, when the epic queue pops into an in progress WG I know I need to buckle up it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

If I backfill into a Wintergrasp offense I just leave. It’s not worth it.

Sometimes it it is, plus I really try not to leave BGs ever figuring I’m just shifting the burden. You may think less of me for saying it but I’m pretty good in a demolisher. I started in Wrath and learned how to BG in WG.

The problem with Wintergrasp is it swings too hard one way or the other. Unless you’re in a premade, then getting offense is most likely a loss.

I think the demarcation is along different lines. I hadn’t played WG since it was current. My alliance healer has won 75% of WGs, not because of their stellar healing. My horde healer has won 12%. Those are all DF numbers, had 12 on my alliance 8 on my horde, probably not statistically significant. Both are healers, one is about to be sent to the island of misfit toys. Probably played 20 BGs at max, have 11 primals.

I’ve done about 15 epic bg’s the last 2 days and haven’t gotten a single win. Got AV 5 times in a row today each one being a loss. Get attacking side in wintergrasp 90% of the time which is almost certain a loss.

My birdies say Ally communities are specific queuing for IOC due to the siege damage being ridiculous.

They leave as soon as they join and you take their spot.

I wouldn’t say that. They did give everyone -10% CC duration with the trinkets. An additional 5% with the boots. It’s something, at least. :stuck_out_tongue:

You might want to get some new birdies.
