Why were zeppelins removed / will they ever come back?

zepplins were not removed, only the zepplins involving undercity were taken away. i doubt those are coming back

Alliance don’t get zeppelins
Well, the public transportation ships and zeppelins that got removed and replaced with portals…why? I’m like OP. I don’t understand why they did that.
I’m sure there’s a reason of some kind, but I’d like to know what it is. “Hey, you know that whole taxi zeppelin service? Let’s scrap that for most–but not all–of the current routes and have portals where the ship used to pull up.”
I. mean, that wasn’t a creative decision. It was a technical one of some kind, right? I just want to understand. I miss the public transport ships. They were flavor. I’m with you, OP. I want to know why they did it. It would scratch my brain itch.

Speaking of, I miss having to use the tram to get to IF from SW and vice-versa. Now by default the FP is unlocked. I know a person isn’t obligated to fly, but new players probably don’t even know the tram exists.

They are under repair
It’s cuz the Tirisfal Glades were rendered desolate by the Alliance invasion. Same with the boat to Teldrassil, the docks of Teldrassil and Teldrassil itself were destroyed. They will probably re-add them to go to some new small enclave maybe? in those areas? unless they rebuild the capitals entirely or just I dunno i’m not the story or dev guy lol
