Sugar, if there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, is that you can’t fix broken men. They have to fix themselves.
Oh but its so much fun to pine for the broken dude. A slight god savior complex to it.
yes i can, i just have to love them enough, they just need my love…
I feel like you are both correct… though I’m a bit biased…
I’m just going to quietly walk away from t his topic.
Well from what I’ve read, they;'re gonna try and expand Warcraft beyond just the MMO. So, even if the mmo eventually ends the IP will continue.
Of course the problem is that even though Warcraft games can be fun, the overall worldbuilding and setting has been damaged beyond repair (outside of a reboot). So I don’t see a lot of new people getting attached to the IP.
Isn’t Anduin into draenei ladies? I swear i recall reading that somewhere, that he got all sorts of feelings with one in particular he saw.
Who said anything about fixing him? I can make him worse.
At the time he was in that stage of male teenage development that’s best described as “anything with boobies”.
What befuddles me is the Scarlets marching on Gilneas would theoretically make the focus on their Worgenism.
I don’t find it odd or out of character that the zealots with a hyper hatred for mutant exhumans with claws and glowing eyes would also hate the Worgen. It’d be if anything weirder if they didn’t.
What’s weird though is you’d think that’d be important to the story. Like they’re out here just killing every Gilnean for possibly being a Worgen or Worgen sympathizer with the flawless logic of ‘Kill them all let the Light sort it out’. But I’m not sure how they got there or what they were doing beyond desecrating graves just to be pricks.
And the Forsaken assisting with removing the Scarlets would make sense. A common enemy has united more disparate factions in the past both on Azeroth and Earth. But rather than helping out with the rampaging feral pope just to be good neighbors, Calia says we’re doing this to return the favor the Alliance gave the Forsaken when reclaiming Lordaeron City.
Um, Cal. THEY WERE SPYING ON YOU. Sure they were incidentally kinda useful in that I’m sure a few helped the Forsaken airforce kill the slime monster but that wasn’t an act of kindness that was keeping in cover.
Idk would’ve made more sense if the Forsaken turned up out’ve a little neighborly altruism but mostly to squash the Scarlets as a matter of national security that happened to be beneficial to the Worgen. Rather than Calia for whatever reason leading an attack to settle some extremely poorly understood debt.
With the Scarlets, it’s hard to figure out what they don’t hate.
It was in the Shattering novel.
I was going to say themselves but then remembered that Joseph led the Scarlet renegades against the rest of them.
Who didn’t like Varian? I can’t recall anyone on the Alliance ever hating him, dude has always rocked.
There’s no way you actually believe this. Also, even if it is a “curse” and we believe it’s a bad thing (I don’t), the intentional infection is a cool concept and makes worgen a little edgier and more fun.
People actually liked that toxic manchild? I recall the hatred he got when he appeared. His rep got worse in MoP with the A little patience scenario.
Maybe not then, but now he’s become a posterchild for those who don’t want guys to actually feel anything other than rage and to only know how to hit things as a solution to their problems. He’s dead in game so it’s like with most deaths in the real world people heap praise onto those that never deserved it, just because we don’t speak ill of the dead…
We should speak ill of people who deserve it. Varian was a manchild who treated his own child like crap for the longest time
I will continue to gladly dunk on that manchild every time someone tries to rewrite his history in game
Dunk away. More I learn about him the less I like, and that’s just from the in-game lore.
Yeah. I just hate manchildren and people who praise people like that. Whether it’s fictional or IRL.
Or people can actual better themselves and no one was ever perfect?
