Weekly quest reset and deadline to turn in used to be 1am California time Monday night(why?). A great change in Dragonflight and the first season of TWW was that it was synced with weekly reset for EVERYTHING ELSE. I just went to turn in my 4 dungeon quest for a heroic box on three alts at 55 minutes before weekly resets Tuesday morning to find that it has suddenly been changed to ONE HOUR EARLIER.
Why devs why? Is there a reason for this unannounced and unwelcome change?

My first question is when has the deadline ever been 1am PST? As someone who used to live in California and keeps odd hours, I never experienced this. It’s possible I never noticed, but I started in BC and I feel like somewhere along the way, I’d have caught it. Still possible I didn’t, though.
My second is, is it possible DST messed with something that you didn’t take into account? I now live somewhere that doesn’t observe DST so everything takes some readjusting, and some things that are changed don’t make themselves apparent until several weeks after.
