Seriously, can we stop with the elitist whining about people buying Arena rating/carries in 3v3? I’m so tired of seeing people get flamed for it. Let’s break down the reality of the situation:
Rating is a Gatekeeper: You need a decent rating to even get invited to competent groups. “Link chieve” is the first thing people ask. If you don’t have it, you’re not getting invited.
Gold/PayPal Carries are Everywhere: The only groups consistently advertising and inviting low CR players are selling carries for insane amounts of gold or real money. So, either you’re paying them, you can “link chieve”, or you’re stuck.
Solo Shuffle is a DPS Nightmare: Queue times for DPS in Solo Shuffle are atrocious. You can spend hours waiting for a single match. I have literally waited 45 minutes plus. Leave to go take a piss and queue pops? Sorry, back in line again!
It’s “too late” to get started: All of the ‘regular PvPers’ are already 1600+, even the ones who are hardstuck there for life. They will not queue with people who are fresh CR or low CR because they have to protect their precious 1500
So, before you jump on someone for “buying rating,” consider the limited options they have. It’s not about being “lazy” or “bad.” It’s about navigating a system that’s designed to make it difficult for anyone without a pre-existing network or endless time. It is the logical move to get to enjoy PvP for newer players.
Maybe instead of judging, we should be asking Blizzard to fix the damn system.
How do you play 3v3 arena without a group, which you can’t get without “link chieve”. Else in a 6 hour session you get 6 solo shuffles if you’re lucky. You make no sense.
Don’t know about cheating, the game is just old and people got a lot better in general. I struggle getting 1800 I’ll admit. But to say everyone cheat? I don’t know, it’s difficult to judge. Most game I do seems legit.
