Why was there only 2 warfronts?

Why would they put work into creating this feature only to half-pursue the concept and more or less abandon it? Every new feature in this expansion from warfronts to allied races to island expeditions was barely dipped into at all

They basically were experimenting. Turns out the majority of people just didn’t like it.

I like how this AV event is going currently. I wish they had what I initially thought Warfronts were going to be. Some type of RTS like game. Instead it was just a gather/grind pve event.

They had more planned but got scrapped. They’ve should’ve turned this into a pvp concept instead!

I forgot about those.

they didnt care for it there should have been a barrens warfront but they chose not to go with it.

they make a ton of money off of race changes.

because like all mindless easy content they release it was pretty boring

Hard war fronts or pvp ones would’ve been great but it was already too late, the die had been cast

It’s cuz this game was really a huge Petri dish. Lots of testing and experimenting this expansion. Islands and warfronts were really beta esque imo.

Would have liked at least 1 pvp warfont, just to see how it would go.

I enjoyed the warfronts, especially Arathi. I wish they had come out with a few more.

I expected them to be pvp.

Hated darkshore, but i felt like this had a lot of pvp potential.

Because the system was a letdown and a total flop.

They cut their losses, thankfully.

heroic stromgarde was pretty challenging especially when it first came out (heroic darkshore in 8.3 probably will be too) I find that one somewhat enjoyable at least

PVP warfront would only work as ranked content IMO, but even them its pretty obvious when you are pass the point of no return and people would probably just quit instead of staying another 15+ min for a loss

Warfronts were a concept with such enormous potential. This is what happens you casualize a great idea to try make it appeal to ‘everyone’. It becomes brainless, shallow tripe that only appeals to people who share in those qualities.

It would have been amazing as an epic bg.

They realized a lot of players found them boring.

I had an idea in my head where we’d be fighting in a massive battle and sending soldiers to different areas and things like that. I personally liked them but they weren’t engaging enough to repeated more than a handful of times for each one.
