Only changed on female toons. At least make it something better than a plain white crop top. What kind of BladeMaster wears a crop top?
I was coming here to say the same thing. My transmog ( bit.ly/4dynV2Y ) is ruined now. You used to be able to see the white swashbuckling shirt but now its covered with a dingy yellow bandage. So gross.

Just logged in and found a few characters hit by this change 
Was really enjoying the look – vibrant colors that matched the rest of my sets, but now everyone looks like they’re wearing gross dirty bandages. Really hoping they revert the change, but re-add these wraps as individual shirts instead of part of the chest pieces and let everybody make their own choice.

I honestly thought this was a helm mog then a chest mog, it’s one of the reasons I never bought it
Why not make it a helm piece instead of a chest piece it would make better sense.
Make some crop top shirts I would love this option for some mog sets in different colors.

It’s so messed up because I actually like the wrap, but it ruined my mog and the potential to be combined with bras.
Blizzard gives, and Blizzard takes. Why not just give people both? Ridiculous.

I agree. It wouldn’t be so bad if the crop top was blue and red to match the orbs.

Because it could layer with other chest pieces, such as glasses. So you could have Glasses + Beads + Shirt.
I saw one person with a neck cone head piece that the beads wrapped perfectly around. It’s great. Male characters are totally unaffected, and get to enjoy these great interactions.

Yeah this change is awful. Fix it blizzard. There is already a pretty easy to get shirt that are bindings already. I actually liked using those with these beads on one of my monks but now it looks worse cause I can’t layer any shirts underneath.

Im glad I found a post. I thought it was just me. but now the neck pieces match nothing. I would have spent tenders differently. disappointed and would have at least liked a heads up. what was the reasoning?? modesty? Do we not already wear underwear for that purpose? And why just female toons?

it actually makes me mad in retail how they censor male characters. Males all have shorts, females all have bikini underwear. Waiting for Blizzard to just go the Fallout route and turn everyone’s underwear into a one piece bodysuit.

I want a bloody refund on my tokens, this change is HORRIBLE and ruins many mogs that I had designed around them. Why the hell would I wear a tube top OVER my shirt!?

They could make the beads and tube top an ensemble that could be worn together or separately; that would be a win.

We all know they aren’t reversing the change nor are they ever going to let us have access to the older version again for female characters. It apparently was never intended for the Blademaster Beads to not have the chestwrap on female characters.
They should have added it as a shirt appearance IMO, though, especially considering how long the appearances have been available.
I’m really upset by this change. I bought these with with trader’s tender and now months later the appearance gets changed.
Changing what i bought after i bought it is incredibly consumer unfriendly and it sets a very bad precedent. It also creates distrust, what else are you going to change after i but it?
If it was bought or gold or something maybe i could see past it, but with tender you only get a certain amount, you cant just grind for more. Every month i need to think about what i want to buy and what to pass on, if i had known this would happen i might have spend my tender on other things.

Well just removed it from my blademaster transmog for my warrior. Too bad she looked badass. I had the banner and the bottom kitted so perfectly.

My understanding is much of the censorship was to satisfy the CCP (no bones showing, no nudity, etc.). But I don’t know why that would be the case now.
Given recent events I think saying censorship is kind of easy. I would keep an eye on it and see what other tmog may get changed. Since it was a recent thing it may the first of a wider sweeping change. If that’s the case then a modesty pass thru female clothing option will be a real 
moment.
