So this just happened to me 12/20/23 . I ported to outland on 12/19 using my teleport to Shatt. 12/20 I logged in and my teleport and portal were gone. I submitted a ticket. GM said they can not verify I ever had the teleport/portal in the first place. I went to the trainer and rebought the spells. 20g. Super annoyed that blizz won’t look into this.

I know this is a necro but I can confirm this is an actual bug. I’ve seen a reddit thread on the issue as well. So clearly this is affecting multiple people. Unknown how widespread it is but considering how few mage players there are these days and the fact that there isn’t much reason to go to shattrath outside of BC TW week to notice, I’d assume there’s more of us that have been impacted by it.

This bug happens after you portal there using the spell, then it disappears later?

Yes, this happened to me today. I ported to Shattrath and then when I arrived the portal spell was gone. The hotkey on my bar was empty and it wasn’t in my spell book any longer. The group portal also disappeared.

This happened to my recently faction-changed mage. Did the faction change, teleported to Shattrath, teleported somewhere else, then noticed later the Shattrath teleport was gone.
Yep, just faction changed and both my Shattrath ports are gone.
