Phase 1 starts at Patch 1.2.
It has either been a 2:1 ratio or nearly 2:1 ratio so far for content. I’d expect many more splits of phases on the way.
For PvE release, Dire Maul came out March 7, 2005. Comparing from Dec 18th, 2004 that’s 2 1/2 months. In classic Dire Maul came out Oct 15th and Classic came out Aug 26th. That’s 1 1/2 months.
BWL came out July 12th in Vanilla which is a span of 4 months from March 7 (Dire Maul). In classic it’s coming out in Jan which is 2 1/2 months when compared to Dire Maul’s Oct 15th release.
For PvP honor system release, Dec 18th to April 8th was 3 1/2 months on Vanilla. Phase 2 was Nov 14th and Classic Came out Aug 26th. That’s 2 1/2 months.
In Vanilla, the Honor system was out for 2 months April 8th 2005 to June 7th 2005 when BGs were introduced. In Classic, the Honor system was out for 1 month before BGs were introduced. Nov 14th to Dec 10th.
