I mean these writers think the Frostbrood was its own thing (as evident with that promo mount for doing the dk starter zone on wrath classic) even though the frostbrood was just raised blue dragonns, or other dead dragons in general.
Its pretty clear they dont play or read any of games past lore.
The undead are considered a different race than humans despite just being humans being raised from death…

The writers implied the frostbrood was a ancient LIVING race of dragons, the frostbrood was just the name for the raised undead dragons from the blue dragonflight.
They are their own thing now, and yeah probably could have been recruited too. Would have been awesome actually.

The frostbrood was a name for a section of the scourges military unit, like death knights.
Its like saying death knights are a ancient race from a long forgotten time, even though thats just the name they were given by the lich king.
The writing is just stupid.
I didn’t need another quest chain(s) to be all inclusive and bring every single dragon iteration into the Dragon Isles. I thought we all got the point after two, and the quest wasn’t world changing anyway. If you go Stormheim, Outland, or the new home in Thaldraszus, everything is still the same.
I mean people got the netherdrake if they didn’t have is. Could have been major for them
