I’ve watched and read multiple guides about outlaw rogues and they all mention ‘use between the eyes with vanish’ but not a single one, i kid you not, advises ‘WHY’.
They advise ‘it’s something you are supposed to do’ but not a single reason why.
When I look at the talents or try to research why, I can’t find a reason why.
Can someone please advise ‘why’ use between the eyes with vanish, and please don’t say ‘because it does more damage’.
I don’t remember if it’s a talent or what but between the eyes while stealthed doesn’t have a cooldown so you can spam it
Yeah talent makes bte have no cooldown when used in stealth.
The real obvious reason is that your “window” to get free BtE procs on ace of sleeves is 6 seconds.
If you vanish with 7cp and open with BtE, you literally just threw in a chance to have full CP restored and spam BtE a second time…basically making your timed window a 7 seconds.
It doesn’t happen often but I sometimes get 7 procs in row…which is not possible if I opened with Ambush.
Outlaw has to be tweaked to maximize your amount of finishers in any content…hence shortening your cd’s and more odds at BtE and so on…
The talent is called crackshot, the devs made it mandatory for outlaw and if you don’t take it you’re losing dps. Basically you need crackshot + subterfuge talent to spam it coming out of stealth
Without Crankshot you are losing a lot more than DPs but CDR. I did a lot of testing on the PTR and frankly Crackshot builds are just stronger in patch 11.0.5 and it is not even close.
