Hey everyone ![]()
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how great World of Warcraft’s newer zones look. But every time I travel back to some of the older areas, I can’t help but notice how much of a visual gap there is between them and what we have now.
I’d love to see Blizzard take some time to bring the classic zones up to the same visual standard as the newer expansions. I think it would do wonders for the game as a whole.
Here’s why:
- It would make Azeroth feel truly connected again.
- It would give new players a better first impression.
- It would rekindle exploration for long-time players.
- It shows continued love for the world.
This doesn’t have to happen all at once. Even a gradual refresh, a few zones at a time, would go a long way.
Curious what other players think. Which older zones would you most love to see updated first? Are there any regions you think would especially benefit from a refresh?
For me, I think seeing places like Stormwind, Iron Forge, and Stranglethorn Vale with the kind of atmosphere and detail we see in Dragonflight or War Within would be amazing.
