Why the 'WANTED: The Crimson Cutthroats" Quest doesn't make sense

This quest. Why is it given at a Horde outpost?
“Crimes against the Lord Admiral”
“Impersonating Kul Tiran naval officers”

I don’t know about the rest of you, but as a Horde player, I WANT these people around. Why would the Honorbound grant you reputation standing for killing 3 NPCs that are thwarting the enemy? It doesn’t make any sense.
They’re right next to Falconhurst, an Alliance town. I can only assume the various crimes they are committing are in this town, as it is right next to their base.

Rather than giving us a WANTED: quest for these guys, why not give us a more interesting quest where we could maybe impersonate Kul Tiran naval officers with them and taking out the crew of an Alliance ship?

because they are paying you to go kill them. In case you haven’t noticed a lot of things we do in the game are us essentially being bounty hunters.

I didn’t even give it any thought and just killed them, but you raise an interesting point that we could have utilized them for a little subterfuge. A missed opportunity.

They shouldn’t be paying us to kill people who hurt our enemies…

One of them gave me the stink eye so I killed him to teach him a lesson.

well you are being paid by a neutral party.

A neutral party at a Horde outpost? Who exactly is paying you?
The Honorbound. You get rep from the Honorbound, I assume that is also where the gold comes from. They are a Horde exclusive faction.

the quest comes from a sign at anyport

As long as there’s a reward, I’ll do it.

Anyport is not a horde outpost.

It’s a neutral outpost alliance players can unlock the area as a flight path also.

Still, the big point is you get Honorbound rep, and kill someone who thwarts the alliance. Doesn’t matter where it comes from.
