Why do people feel the need to be so rude in shuffle? I was in a lobby going 0-5 against ret/war/fw cleave already feeling down on myself, then the healer proceeds to just talk mad trash saying “enjoy the 0-6” and “you’re so dog ----”. Basically wrecked any chance at finding my confidence to save a round. I -never- do that to my struggling teammate when I’m 5-0. In-fact I try to relate and build them up. We’ve all had bad lobbies. Why kick someone when they’re down and ensure you lose the round too? Dude even whispered me after the game. Like bro this is a hobby. Calm yourself.
The healer got tilted because he was going 3-3 no matter what which meant for him 0 rating
Not if he gets a win with me. That’s a 4-2. Literally had a game right before that where I went 3-3 with one of the healers going 0-6. Wasted a 30 min queue. Tried to build up the 0-5 healer last round.
You knew the answer to this before you made the thread.
hey man just tried some on my alt lock, I did 80% as much healing* as both the healer in EACH round (2 min long games). Demo is so tanky. however, I just get told that I’m bad because I lost the first 3 rounds and to L2P. I look these healers up, 1500 max exp.
Games just weird man, don’t allow them to bring you down
I feel it and I definitely get salty when I play a 2600 game where the ret doesn’t bubble and dies first few seconds, but it happens. Don’t try to ruin the dude’s night over it. Maybe I been away too long. I forgot how trash this community can be.
We all got old and nobody seems to handle that well.
I recommend throwing on music, and just trying to tune it out while requeueing. I imagine that’s easier said than done as a dps, since there’s a long time to wait where you’re just stuck thinking about it though. >< The bright side is that you’ll never have to deal with those people again afterwards. I’d just be quick to throw them on ignore.
i’ve found ques are just about that 37 min mark which gets me in the space where i dont want to que but i’m invested in the time i’ve already wasted. Sometimes i just leave the que because of life and like today, get 14 total rounds ( 2 lobbies with leavers) in a 7 hour period
Hover over the player’s bar who is rude, right-click, click ignore.
It’s solo shuffle. continue playing, practicing. watch youtuber’s reviews of Solo shuffle. Reviews / guides are great way to learn about arena, what works best, what not to do, addons that work well for arenas.
Pvp is immensely frustrating. Every tool blizzard gives classes comes at the expense of other classes’ control, mobility, and fun.
I think if people had control of their characters once in a while they’d be a little more chill.
Update: I guess I didn’t have my weapon equipped. Some nobleguarden thing unequipped it and I didn’t notice? Was wondering why my damage took such a hit for no reason. Noticed halfway through my last shuffle game. X_X
… <.< >.>
Maybe they had good cause to be toxic, lol. =P
(I’m not above doing dumb stuff like that myself, just so we’re clear)
Lol sure. Honest mistake. I normally check/switch talents before the game not my gear. Would have noticed on my warrior obviously. I didn’t know doing Noblegarden events unequips your weapon for a basket.
Oof sorry to hear about the bad experience. Whenever I see things like this in a lobby, I remind everyone that maybe the person is tired or off game. Cause you know, we’re human and humans make mistakes. ![]()
I have tried to make a point to be as positive and uplifting to people as possible in shuffle lobbies. There is literally no upside to being rude to someone that you’re about to play a game with. When you’re on game 4 with the 0-3 healer, simple words of encouragement combined with a very simple positioning tip or “when to use button” cue such as “I will trinket defensive before your trinket, don’t overlap” works wonders.
Because solo queue was a game mode that only benefits DPS. So when we’re forced into a lobby with an 0-6 DPS it frustrates us, and wastes our time.
Just like if you had an 0-6 healer it would annoy you. As for why they said anything to you? Beats me, maybe they don’t care about game bans and were fed up.
Because when people get frustrated and their egos are damaged, they want to upset or control other people around them.
When I see that person, That’s who I know I have to keep alive if I want my extra points, and go hard on keeping them up. Only need to do it one match to make all the difference.
Lmao I was playing against a hunter and he forgot to turtle down I gave him the ToD
