Why the Sunreavers are the best Horde faction

Please put the stones down. Let me explain this for you in all the details I can muster now.

We all hate Aethas in this house but even is the bad leader doesn’t define what they are.

This faction of blood elves infact has a history as old as Dalaran itself. The elves right now who still call the place their home lived in the city even before the nation of Kul Tiras was created. We know this due to gossip texts coming all the way back to MoP after the purge. Many notable people exist still and they all pulled their lot of loyalty to the rest of the Horde by now because like many other former alliance allies, they are now aware that they are nothing but the cute armcandy when humans are in charge of things. The undying loyalty of Vereesa towards Stormwind is a great mystery but regardless of that the Sunreavers deploy an expertize of magic, war, startegy and cunning on us only the Forsaken can match this edge and prowess.

Silvermoon took us in after the ice witch banished us and killed many of our loved ones. We are after all still elves and they do not take treason lightly. Our ranks are vast since we aren’t a simple milita like the Silver Covenant which are just an extended arm of alliance loyalists under the iron grip of yet another Windrunner sister. No. We are soldiers, scholars, vendors, smiths adventurors and so much more. When we strike people just know the story of the blood elves is far from over. Hathorel, Scout Captain Elsia, High Arcanist Savor, Uda, Girana the Bloodied and many others are an example of true loyalty, magical control and a long memory who will do whatever it takes to emerge victorious over any enemy.

This faction alone has as much numbers as all remaining high elves combined so the power of the Sunreavers should not be underestimated. If we can make it happen to force Aethas out of his job and get an actual competent leader for them then surley the former glory and access to the resources of the Kirin Tor are restored at last. And we might even get Felo’melorn back.

In short. Yes it is good to love the Sunreavers at any given day because they are very cool.

Theirs is an interesting backstory, blood elves balancing loyalties between Horde-aligned Silvermoon and the Alliance kingdom they contributed to as high elves, but their collective amnesia concerning the purge sapped my enthusiasm for the faction. I’d rather Aethas and his Sunreavers fade into Kirin Tor content and Rommath and his Magisters cement themselves as the premier blood elf magic specialists. Hearthstone was ahead of the curve on this; hopefully WoW’s devs will get the memo by Midnight.

Aethas is bad yes but the most NPCs didn’t forget what happened. After Dalaran betraying them twice they should cut all ties by now. Hathorel and the Bloodied had the right idea.

Is this your attempt at an AI topic?

Hey, weren’t you complaining about Blood Elves stealing Amani land last week? I guess treachery is a one way street.

It’s obvious the leader of the Sunreavers should be rommath at this point.

The Sunreavers as an organization should be disbanded
