I have a sneaky suspicion that most if not all of the people saying “why rush” “take your time” “smell the peaceblooms” “level your professions” “WoW is a marathon not a sprint”
Are going to be the same people that try to rush to 60 as fast as possible and want to encourage others to not rush making their path to 60 less cluttered with competition.
I like you!
They look like they smell like dandelions tbh. Not a big fan. In saying that, roses don’t even smell great. Most flowers smell like grass with a hint of sweetness.
Most women smell like fish with a hint of sweetness too so it’s ok
Uhh I think that depends on each woman. Flora, bacteria etc…However, it is amazing how a newborn can recognize it’s mother’s scent.
Realistically, after this initial push i’ll play an hour a day on weekdays and maybe 4 hours a day on weekends–on average. So that’s 13 hours a week. Lets say I take 9 days /played to level to 60, since I’m not experienced, super efficient, and do some professions and dungeons on the way.
That pace is going to put me at over 4 months to reach sixty, with month 5 grinding the same slow pace to get some blues, work on some reputation, etc.
By this point, because I didn’t rush to 60, I’ve basically missed the entire first content patch. We’d be on the phase 2, the game has moved on without me. Because I didn’t rush, I didn’t get to experience what everyone else was doing, and no, forming a band of other laggards to do prior phase content won’t quite be the same.
If I can take the first week or two to really rush, I can experience the fresh server launch and phase 1 so much differently, even if i still play my standard 13 hours after hitting 60.

They all smell good to me so far
I encourage those who want to rush to rush. In Legion, I’ve gone from 100-110 in a day purely out of motivation. In BfA, 110-120 in a day for the same reason.
In Vanilla, I would get burned out at roughly level 43 every single time. It was just soooo much slower and more tedious. Rewarding in the end for sure…but rushing through Classic sounds to me like the ultimate way to burn yourself out.

Because it’s exciting! I won’t be expecting to keep up with the people who really know what they’re doing, but top 5% or so? Why not! Trying to stay ahead of the pack is fun for me.
I can take it slow and smell the roses any time I want, on an alt. But everyone starting equal on a fresh new server, that doesn’t come around very often, and I mean to make the most of it - on your marks, get set, go!
