Why the lack of Customization?

If shadows are that world ending maybe it’s time to give the game a break you are being ridiculous now .

I care. Because it means something to me. And that is good enough. I PvP as a main staple of this game. If I cannot tell what you are by your silhouette off rip, there is a serious problem.

I care about my race’s aesthetic. Any effort to differentiate void and blood elves would be good. But they don’t care about that.

I care. Yes. And I have every right to care.

My fault I thought you were talking about Revendreth tbh lol.

Honestly though yall should get more lightforged / farstrider customizations. Blood Elves stopped being a “edgy/vampric” race after Velen filled your Sunwell with holyJuice at the end of TBC.

Leave the dark aesthetics to the Forsaken. A thalassian elf toggleable model for Forsaken creation screen would be sick.

A silhouette is not a shadow in this case - I am discussing easily identifying a playable race within content. In arena, racials matter. Again, effort was put into the nightborne having a different silhouette. The same should have been done here.

That is quite literally not an issue though. You can always tell who is on your team in an arena or rbg quite easily just by looking lol. I have never seen a friendly void elf in an RBG and thought “Oh god is that a Blood ELF???”

That’s not debatable but I still think it’s silly to care as much as you people do about this.

Should be able to tell from the nameplates …

Dude, you got: New skin tones, both purple AND blue eyes along with gold and green being unique, over 30 hair styles with new colors, 3D jewelry, facial hair for males, a race locked class, and new ear sizes. Blood Elves got A LOT of what they asked for. Stop acting like ya’ll are Tauren with 4 faces and hair styles.

Not on my team. On the enemy team.

I’ve never had to stop what I’m doing to look at a to identify someone in arena before, and it shouldn’t start now. Also, no nameplate I know of has a racial identifying marker on it. Tooltips do.

My man it goes both ways. Nameplates are there to quickly show you where ANY enemy is. If you are actually looking at character models to differentiate teammate from enemy teammate you’re playing really weird.

You would have a field day playing Overwatch or Valorant.

You have been trying to escalate the situation more all this time constantly stating how you’re “just happy you got black hair” but then coming back requesting more stuff and acting like blood elf mains are wrong for feeling like their race’s identity and uniqueness is slowly being stripped away.

I don’t even understand why you’re still arguing with people given you apparently got what you want.

You could just be happy.

I know zero blood elves who wanted jewelry. Zero. I know plenty of them who wanted tattoos like the BC box art, and scarring like Lor’themar as options, as well as ear options involving injury and such.

I never stop what I’m doing either n I’m healing people and I do just fine . Last thing I care about is a toons shadow when I’m pvping.

Thanks Linxy! But like others have said, I know this patch is focusing on allied races, but could you guys please give blood elves the red eyes and undead skin stones so they can have dark ranger options? It would merely be a matter of enabling those options for players and at least they’d have something until core races get further customization options.

Also frankly if void elves are getting blood elf skin and hair colors, giving blood elves the void elf hairstyles sans tentacles (and the beard options for belf men) would be only fair.

It’s funny.

I was so hooked on exploring more of the lore. Vampyr lore, specifically, from Azeroth. NOT Shadowlands stuff. But the vampirates, San’layn origin, more on the Vry’kul and their blood magic. Had so many ideas for potential AR dances, jokes, flirts. Bat-like features, ripped ears, blade-like fangs for every single tooth, jet black/red eye options. I was stuck on San’layn being an Allied Race, and really…really wanted lore, for them to be antihero, like Forsaken and Death Knights. To return for redemption and fight for their faction, because they needed a home.

And here I am, resigned, giving up entirely on the lore and the ideas, just asking for ‘red eyes for blood elves’ as a bare minimum, hoping we’ll be heard, hoping I can RP a San’layn without toxic parties screaming at me for ‘playing something evil/extinct’ even though they neither were all killed off nor need to be evil given that they have free will.

When I first started giving suggestions, I would have laughed if someone said “some day you’ll just be desperate for red eyes on blood elves”.

Well. Here I am.

It’s a terrible feeling.

I wish Blizzard took feedback seriously a while ago, or assured that they were actually doing something creative, as opposed to reducing all of my wishes onto THAT. Don’t get me wrong, all that I mentioned, I still want.

But…yeah. “No more customization” and then ignoring the suggestions of people for so long just has me ‘bare minimum-ing’ it.

Cause the devs worked on stuff for you guys when our pass was being done, and this happened to no other core race. So to put it simple, If the devs don´t give back the same favor, I´ll start to feel as if my money is for some reason, “less valuable” than the rest of the fans of the other races, who never saw the company use their designated design time to work on something else.

And you know what happens when customers perceive they are being treated as second rate individuals.

The Dark Animus was literally baited in the Nazmir invasions of the previous expac, dude.

So, no. I disagree with your reductive notion Belvs only deserve “light stuff” and “stuff to be shared with the Helfers”; especially when the lore has NEVER appointed the Sunwell as anything but a freaking mixture (this idea “the Sunwell is a 100% holy fount” needs to die after 10+ years of misinformation ffs).

It may sound “sick” but is just as improbable. What´s easier, to give people availability for stuff with almost no work involved or to create a problem from yoruself as a designer (cause let me tell you, if they make one model available for forsaken they need to make like 4 additionals models too… and that´s a LOT of work).

Never mind, you’re not understanding what I’m telling you. And I’m not gonna keep trying to explain it so you can tell me I’m rude for explaining it to you.

Ive seen you too in the spam thread point is ??? It’s a public forum not sorry get used to seeing me around .

Lol I said you were being rude and you were not everything you said was rude I was just pointing out what was rude . Lord

You are talking to an individual who calls others “Karen” in pretty much evident mocking posts but at the same time complains others are being “rude” to his/her and his/her buddies for reasons.

Don´t even bother, ignore and move on. Cause that person doesn´t have clarity on the meaning of the word “respect”.

This is Blizzard we´re talking about. Don´t ask for unrealistic stuff when they have to work for everybody, period.

So yes, after the “amazing” core pass, bare minimum it is, cause I want the red eyes not only to RP undead minions AND I rather not wait another 6 years for it, period.

Idk bro, a blood elf recolor vs a fully fledged Thalassian Forsaken model.

The second sounds way more appealing and would be worth the wait. Why would you want discount dark rangers instead?

If there’s a demand for it then it will happen.
